I am so glad to see Montech officially enter the competition of top tier PC Case makers with this one! The features and quality they bring with this case is insane. They are showing other Case makers how to use some of the best features on other cases but also doing some one of kind features that are bold and game changing. WTG Montech keep it up 👍
This video was something else! I've lurked for a little while but just had to hit the sub button! Was debating on this case and after watching a few videos including JaysTwoCents, this one stood out, just wow! The polish, the quality, the concise information, the helpful labels - all while keeping the fun front and center. You picked cool colors of the cases to showcase (lol) the more niche choices (thank you SO much I was debating on the blue or white one, but didn't want to commit to that yet), and the side-by-side build was GENIUS!! I love that you put super primo Lian Li Infinity fans into the non-rgb version to show the range of aesthetics too. As a small sidenote, would love to see some more stuff with the Phanteks D30's because I've been lusting over them for a while, but have heard that they're thick and hard to use in a lot of cases, and there's like NO coverage of their software, fitment, or Linux compatibility! At any rate, loved the video, and pulled the trigger on the black rgb version thanks to your confidence inspiring coverage!! Cheers!
Love the review, considering this case specifically for the drive capacity and the tower cooler height - I can drop my server into it and populate those drive bays cheaper than I could get an off the shelf NAS system that holds 8 drives "Spinning rust drives" might be out for gaming PCs, but they still definitely have a place for data hoarding :) Keep up the awesome work y'all - I keep coming back to this channel for the great reviews and for the music
The main reason why everyone should watch your channel is you tell it the way it is on all reviews and to me I now get the best knowledge on the product.
Novus #1 clean and shine often works well on treated glass. Most glasses and glass cleaners tend to be streaky if TG is oleophobic or otherwise coated.
Everyone's videos was less than a day old when I found this case, even by the thumbnails I knew I was going to love it. I already had a different case on the way for my build but I instantly bought this one because I didn't want the RUclips rush to hike up the price or have it go out of stock for months.
One thing I think is really cool about the pro version is the addition of reverse blade, 140mm fans, which I think are the only ones on the market currently. So much attention to detail on this case. It’s crazy
Saw a lot of people complaining about the weight of the case🤣 What are they doing with their desktop Pc's ? Carrying them around all days or...? High weight for a pc case usually means thick high wuality materials.
I just built with this case and it’s fantastic … oh and also, I use a lot of drives for music production and I didn’t have any issues like that with my glass. Nice peel from both sides and the glass was crystal clear. Airflow and flexibility is great
Such a fire looking case. I love it. This is the first case I've seen since I got my Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X years ago that I'm actually thinking about replacing it with.
me too .. just bought RX7900xtx and R9 7900x3D .. now i need a modern case with 9 fan option including AIO .. im after lian li EVO .. any recommendation ?
@oldschool_bamagatrader9960 I would go with the Phanteks NV5, NZXT H9, or this. Possibly the O11 Vision but it's thermals will probably be worse than the others
Awesome case. Not only does it have all the positives of the Lian Li o11s but it has the possibility of having 2 HHDs and 3 extra SSDs other than those on the motherboard. Excellent cable management. A perfect case.
Radiator on the bottom makes the water pump work harder, use gravity to your mechanical advantage, perhaps extending the service life of your AIO CPU watercooler. Install it up top, that's the best choice. I like this case. I'm liking it.
As a Coloradian, im very proud to have been the 420th like. Love new case creative designs, and Montech has been killing it lately, not only on new designs and quality cases, but in pricing too!
Note: If you vertically mount your gpu you can't use an aftermarket air cooler cause theres no space to install it... In that case only option is to go aio or the default wraith cooler
For me what stands out on cases since they all mostly look the same is Value/Cost Ease of build Included accessories. (its nice when the includes fans. Fans are expensive and they add up)
Montech has been releasing some seriously nice cases lately. keep em coming! question GS: you said that the case cannot support bottom rads, but your lower 3rd said it can. can you clarify? thanks! great vid GS!
Great build, I love the white. If I knew it was so close to launch I’d of gotten this rather than the sky two 😂 but still a great case. Love the cables in the white , where can I get them?
Very nice, detailed and down earth review, thank you! If I wouldn't already have a fractal north lying about for my first ever build, this would probably be the case I'd get. Although I must say I really do like the montech case fans, thinking going for either those or the apnx fp2 fans together with the apnx ap1-v air cooler.
Definitely interesting case with the curve. What cables are you using in the white build… really digging them. Love the videos and music that you make.
Really like this case. Oh wait! I bought the King 95 Pro in white a month ago to build next month. I did find it kind of odd that the Lian Li white fans have black cables and it would have been nice to have seen the back of either case once complete to see how much the cables and PSU are visible through the meshed rear panel
i was able to fix the fog on my front panel by adding some sharpie to the edge of the glass closest to the front rgb strip. might go over it again with paint but the difference is night and day with just a marker
Its been a lot of nice cases released this year. The only one I believe to be the best ergonomically and has been slept on all this year, however, is the Asus GT502 with its dual chamber design. I have 10 fans in the front chamber surrounding my main components and 1 360 AIO in the rear chamber with its 3 fans attached to it. People really slept on that case this year.
Personally is the worst looking dual chamber case of all the o11-look alike cases, didn't surprises me at all that has passed unnoticed. I'm sure it has a good building quality and should perform similarly to the others dual chambers cases, but the little differences that distinguish it from the others makes it really ugly. And I am talking as a huge TUF fan, my build is on the tuf x570 and I have already the tuf x670E waiting for the 7800x3d to arrive and procede with the upgrade, but this doesn't changes my perception of how ugly the new tuf case is. H6, H9, King 95, phanteks nv5 nv7 or the immortal o11 dynamics all look far more attractive, minimalistic and refined than the gt502: the useless and dust catching textile strip band on the top and the 45° angled corners destroys the minimalistic cristal cube/fish tank effect...
Having tried to install a high end pc into a much much cheaper case (even had to replace the fans) and being irritated by how awful the case was, I have bought a Montech King 95 pro case. Really looking forward to it arriving.
Too many drives? You can never have too many drives! The cooling in this case is pretty impressive. I had the Hyte y60 but changed to the Lian Li Lancool 216 because the y60 was pretty bad at cooling the GPU (6950XT).
Yeah, I'm thinking this remedies the weak point of the Y60 with better GPU cooling. The GPU was sandwiched right up against the glass in the Y60, really unfortunate on an otherwise great case.
So Nick...what did you do today?...oh I just rubbed one off in front of Klaire....not the first time eh? 😂 Thanks for sharing guys, was looking forward to this one 👌
Wow, I'd rather have this than an O11 Air mini. My nitpick wish list: hinged side panel and removable dust filters from the side (instead of the rear) to make maintenance easier.
One thing i really don't like in most of the cases, is that in order to be compatible with 120 and 140mm fans, they restrict 140mm airflow. Make extra adjustment slots that will also serve as perforation, please.
I think the drive support is great for people trying to move older PC drives to a new case with a platform improvement. I've been around long enough that I've got lots of spinning rust drives and 2.5" SSDs in addition to the newer NVME M.2 SSDs. Probably would be great as a a primary drive PC for network file sharing.
Very useful review, thank you guys, now I decide to buy this case And I have a question about psu cables for white build in your review: what brand it is?
I was very close to choose this case, for sending to retirement my O11 Air Mini, which lacks space in bottom and top (just few cm!). But this case, have 3 very big cons. First is bottom fan mounting. I love the space for standard size 2,5cm height fans, but for fox sake, why they choosed long screws for mounting them? Lets say one of my fans dies or start making noise. Its gonna be fan closest to the back of the case (bottom - back). How will i remove all 4 screws with mounted motherboard and air cooler? This is deisgn flaw, that should be noted loud and clear. There should be mounting rails for fans on bottom, period. Second con is lack of any dust filter on this front panel. As you noticed glass panel isnt best looking, they could leave it only on PRO version, and give ventilated panel to standard version (that would save a lot of costs to them and customers). I can make dust filters not problem - i made myself whole set for O11 Air mini. BUT NOT ON CURVED PANEL. It will be extremaly hard to mount and hold on whole filter height. Third con is only 120mm at the back. Why premium cases, and medium tier cases eliminate 140mm fans at the back? What is going on? Is this same story as jack 3,5mm on smartphones? They copy LianLi, and they did it wrong. Is this so hard to give MORE options than product they are copying? That 3 things totally excluded this case for me. If they will release something similar in future, with that things improved, i may think about it. Bonus con is this... side doors. Whoever thinked, that giving space for additional 120/140mm fans with 1/3 of this space covered with holes is good idea, should sprint into the wall. Thats noise generator, noting else.
I am very taken with the form factor. I want to build a Zen 5 16c on AM5 and I want to use a 2nd gen NH-D15 ~ meaning I want about 200mm (8 inch) from the motherboard to the lid. Now you can move the fans around to clear your RAM and stuff, but the case I have now, from Thermaltake, is about 150mm thick, and I'm not going to be re-using that for my 16 core R9 build, I can tell you that much.
For me, this is better than the O11D Evo. I use a U14S in push/pull and the O11D Evo just can't fit that, where this would. If I hadn't JUST snagged a Lancool 216, this would already be on the way to my house. lol
Nice case. Just wish it came in a smaller, mATX form factor as I found my lancool ii mesh too heavy and this weighs around the same at around 12kg. Wish the dust filter was removable from the side/front
I wonder if you can install a radiator on the bottom of the case even though it doesn't say you can? I can see a 360mm would have issues unless it was maybe a slim one? But I don't see why rads wouldnt work on the bottom as long as you can use one of the fan slots to screw it down.
I love the flexibility of this case, there is only one thing I don’t like and that’s the fan brackets which while supporting 140mm fans, have a fair amount of metal which would block airflow. I know there’s a better way to do this and it’s all I would ask for
Thanks!
Whoa. I didn’t do a drive, but I shall now… Nick, the challenge has been accepted. Build two coming…
I thought for sure you were going to do it hahaha!

What a beautiful case. Can’t believe the price as always.
Look like Jonsbo TK-2 2.0
Hopefully it will be under micro atx. For me it is too big in size perfectly 1stplayer mv5-t(

100% agree. I'm a junior data harder with only about 50TB worth of drives, about 75% of which is spinning drives.

Cablemod. The PSU doesn't come with cables and you need to order them from Cablemod
Would love to build in a case like this with the PSU hidden round the back and the bottom fans having air to breath. Gorgeous case
What’s the riser you used in the king 95 pro?

I am very taken with the form factor. I want to build a Zen 5 16c on AM5 and I want to use a 2nd gen NH-D15 ~ meaning I want about 200mm (8 inch) from the motherboard to the lid. Now you can move the fans around to clear your RAM and stuff, but the case I have now, from Thermaltake, is about 150mm thick, and I'm not going to be re-using that for my 16 core R9 build, I can tell you that much.
What are your opinions on the included fans on the pro? Amount of air and noise? Better to just get non pro and run better fans?
Great case, crazy value for money and a well built solid case, get it you won't regret it, my pro in white looks awesome 👏
I want to be able to move the case io panel as well. Front bottom or side bottom would be nice as opposed to the front right only.
Didn't Thermaltake also make curve window case just like this?🤔
Dream PC...!!!! Amazing!!!!
For me, this is better than the O11D Evo. I use a U14S in push/pull and the O11D Evo just can't fit that, where this would. If I hadn't JUST snagged a Lancool 216, this would already be on the way to my house. lol
Nice case, can you do a comparison between this case and the Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mini?
Nice case. Just wish it came in a smaller, mATX form factor as I found my lancool ii mesh too heavy and this weighs around the same at around 12kg. Wish the dust filter was removable from the side/front
Honestly for what this case is and the price i can get it, amazing thing. Im gonna be getting this soon.
i'm curious to see this next to the o11 mini, can't decide on which one to get xD.
Did you put in a drive and a fan hub back there?? I'm struggling to find space in mine. Any tips??
Did i miss the comparison of Mesh vs Glass front on the SAME cpu?
I wonder if you can install a radiator on the bottom of the case even though it doesn't say you can? I can see a 360mm would have issues unless it was maybe a slim one? But I don't see why rads wouldnt work on the bottom as long as you can use one of the fan slots to screw it down.
Even if you could, I wouldn't do it. Mounting the radiator below the pump is bad for the cooler.
I like this case a lot, thinking of doing a non RGB red and black build with it as I have a lot of Chromax noctuas sitting around…!
Cool 😎 music 🎶 choice 👌
an innovative o11-adjacent design, very cool
Best case of the 2023!!!
I love the flexibility of this case, there is only one thing I don’t like and that’s the fan brackets which while supporting 140mm fans, have a fair amount of metal which would block airflow.
I know there’s a better way to do this and it’s all I would ask for
Just saw a red and blue option on Amazon. The red one looks gorgeous.
