Starfield Outpost Guide - Bessel III-b Location with Four Resources!

- Today, I've got a Starfield Outpost Guide where I'll show you an easy way to find the best spot on Bessel III-b to place your outpost to get Aluminum, Iron, Cobalt, and Nickel. Then we'll build up a solid starter outpost around it, having tons of storage, all the crafting workbenches, and the Landing Pad with Ship Builder.

@Vanexp I started a new game and ran through the tutorial to get to Bessel. Everything appears to be as it should, and I got it, no problem. The key is finding the right landing spot. You land on a mountain pixel with Rocky Desert, one pixel to the west, and Hills, one pixel to the south. Let me know if you're still having trouble. I'll try to help if I can.

Thanks for making this video. I wish I had seen it sooner. However after seeing this I think I start my outpost over. I also love the fact that you know what buttons for the Xbox to use. So many videos only know the PC Controls.

Yes, absolutely. It might be a bit, though. My basement floods when it rains really hard like it has been lately. To get that fixed, I have to relocate everything in the basement and my studio for about three weeks. Sucks short term, but it will be awesome to have my studio completely finished.

I Just have a question. What can I do with all these resources besides of crafting Things? I mean, can I sell them to get some crédits or it's not a good idea? I'm Just getting started (level 9) and still Don't Know many Things about the Game.
There's a lot you can do. You can sell them at vendors, use them to weigh you down and max out Fitness, Wellness, and Weight Llifting or just keep crafting to gain more experience and levels. Just a couple ideas.
Nice job of explaining and showing the best location. I am currently on NG+ and wanted my first outpost to be here. In my first play through my main base was on Andraphon, but this outpost placement is ideal for making magnets and frames and frees up an outpost. I am subscribed and looking for any new ideas you might come across.
Yeah I really love this outpost. I want to figure out how best to expand on it and really take advantage of the time dilation on Bessel III-b. More to come for sure.
Tried to find the same spot you did, but got lost. found a spot with everything but iron, ans platinum. 😑
Yeah, you gotta hit the initial landing spot. If you don't see exactly what I see when you land I'd take off and try again.

Found this exact spot, but there's an abandoned facility that has randomly generated close by, so the aluminum spot cannot be accessed. Tried again on ng+ in that exact spot and it's still there. Might make a brand new save and see if it's there. Could be Bethesda soft locking people from using this method....

@ryanchapman2636 I started a new game on the beta build and everything worked normally. I was able to build the base and access all four resources. Maybe just bad luck.
@@aridenkane Thanks for looking into it, I must just be super unlucky. I started a brand new save, and there's another completely different structure, in a slightly different location that is still coverring the aluminum spot. I'm ready to cry haha

Anyone else have the universal timer conversion stop working? My modded game works but in my unmodded playthrough Bessel 3b doesn't produce for crap ?
Damn that sucks. You'd think it would be the modded one that's screwed up. Not the other way around.
@@aridenkane I actually think it came down to storage and I'm just an idiot lol. The modded game has darkstar storage which is like 10k or something. The real game holds basically nothing so that I think is what was going on. Its "better" now but I'm absolutely over the grind. Lvl 100 around the corner and it's taking longer to lvl up than all the previous levels so far! Lol
Idk how the heck I'm ever gonna get to lvl 300.
@@SculKing Yeah 300 seems out of reach unless I just cheese the whole thing and make like 600 trillion adaptive frames.

I found it it seems I was landing just a little to far north even though it always looked like the same hill I was running to for some reason it didn't load them all until I kanded in the right spot
