Thank you Heather! It's crazy to me that I randomly had that wall paper and literally just enough to complete the walls. I think I mentioned that I found it at an estate sale a couple years ago and just set it aside...I guess for the perfect moment! :)
This is fantastic! One of my favorite movies. A huge part of my love for the Horror genre. I am excited to see the next. The wallpaper!! Trim, carpet all coming together great. Even down to the paint. Love your eye for details, your creations are my fav!
Yay!!! I’m happy you like it. I love all the mystery behind this movie and the supposed hidden messages. Of course the story line itself is a masterpiece. It’s been fun bringing this movie to the “little” screen in this way!
@@WhitneyLaBrie a lot of amazing movie facts. The musical score... fantastic! The depth of how the actors got into character! The sets, decor, eerie feelings it all gave. I'm so happy to see the tiny version of a scene that really scared me. LoL!
Oh there we go..lol...first of all..🥰 Amazing on the replication of the Staff Quarters hallway... What a perfect match on the wall paper..I love how you have that small extension of the carpet to give the illusion that the hall turns....this is so awesome Whitney...I love the narrative of the movie ...one thing tho..I always call them the Grady Girls...bc yes they are twins but the characters are not..they were ages 10 and 8..the biggest mistake we all make in saying they are twins..and that's only bc the actors really are...lol sorry...I didn't mean to be a Know it all Nancy 🥴...this is so awesome ..and I thought the carpet looked well...can't wait to see the rest..I was like nooooo...not a video in parts! 🤣..so awesome..love it🤗👏👏👏
Yes, I learned that about the twins many years ago when I went to a Stanley Kubrick exhibit and they had of course lots of info on this movie, including the girls outfits. It was really a cool exhibit. I always welcome cool tid-bits like that, so don't feel like a "know-it-all." This hobby in general is a constant learning process anyway and I'm always learning something new. This video was the last one I did before leaving for vacation and I just couldn't finish and so I had to break it up into parts! There is just too much to complete :) Thank you for being a part of my channel and your support is priceless. :) Oh and thank you for letting me know about the "comments" issue..what happens is that when my cache gets to full..it effects the comments and automatically turns them off..I don't know why..so if I forget to clean out the cache on my computer it does that.
@@WhitneyLaBrie lol..yes I figured you knew as a fan..but just incase some veiwers may not know..I grew up thinking they were twins as most of us do...I would of loved that exhibit! ....and I guess it is easier to call them twins..I mean that is what we see right..lol😉 Im so glad you are doing this project..and so far it is amazing!!! 🥰 and yes the learning never ends in this passion does it?!? But it is one of the things I love about this craft!
@@WhitneyLaBrie omgosh..the Infamous Cache..it is never ending..does it really need to exist..I mean like c'mon computer makers..right!?!!? You would think with the brilliance of technology..there would be no such thing as the Cache!! I have only just learned how to clear it on my phone.
Oh damn. That is amazing! Oh,I am a super fan of this masterpiece by Kubrick, and this piece speaks to me in the creepiest possible way! As always, you create masterpieces. 🥰
I absolutely love this! The Shining is also one of my favorite movies ❤ I usually put it on when I’m cleaning on the weekends 😂 This is going to look great!
It is a great movie. I've always enjoyed it, but the reasons I like it have changed over the years..cause now I obsess over the decor and accessories..as a kid I just was in it for the scare!
Where did you find those creepy twins? I had always thought they were standing in front of the elevators. Hmmm, interesting. That hallway looks so long, wonderful job with the perspective.
@@WhitneyLaBrie I saw those twins done by, Monster High I think. Lady who reviewed them had never seen the movie, doesn't like scary movies. It was kind of funny.
Omg, this is so amazing!! I love The Shining, and it scared the heck out of me when I was a kid. I watch it every October. Can't wait to see more of this!!
I’m so happy you enjoyed the shining…..I’m dying about the jelly bean…I forgot about that video and I had to think for a second….but yes…it was nauseating…lmao!
@@my3rs307 you might be able to find a digital download and print it. I think though that you may not be able to get that really brilliant coloring that you see in this wrapping paper. Also, this paper is not 1:12 scale which is why I used it on the outside, just in case you want a true to scale paper.
It’s freaking awesome! I love this! I would love to more Halloween classics!
thank you! I will do my best my friend!
So much symbolism in this movie. Moon landing, the number of the room.
yeah for sure...its possible to really go down a rabbit hole with movies directed by Kubrick.
What? Is that the exact wallpaper or am I just scaring myself😂 Get out of there Tiny Whitney! Or is that the lost triplet 😱?
How crazy is that wallpaper! I was so lucky to find that! It was meant to be! Yeah that Tiny Whitney…she’s a rascal!
So far so good, can’t wait for the end results
Hi Megan! Thank you…plenty more in store for sure!
Great start! I think the wallpaper and the doors look make the diorama thus far.
