"careful consideration should be paid when removing the pad as the screw in the top is a left-hand thread, which can get damaged or broken if not aware". Apparently, you can take it out. Still looks like a solid value helmet!

54cm, size M. I could have chosen S, but I am happy with my choice. There is plenty of adjustment either way.

Padding looks a bit minimal, although I like the non-mushroomness of it.

If that is the colour Abus shows, I wouls say yes. It is gloss and not matt.
