    This was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo CLEAR!!! It's sad I had to find a video from 1 year ago that explains this, but I am VERY GRATEFUL you made this video. If you ever do a class/workshop, please let me know because I would pay for a detailed step by step process, etc. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. It was excellent. Thank you!!!!

    Thank you so much for this tutorial. It is exactly what I was searching for. Your presentation was excellent! You are clear, concise and moved at a perfect pace. This is by far and away the best explanation I have ever seen (and I have seen many). I have had Inkscape for years but honestly never knew I could do this. Wow.

    Thanks for the great video! I want to design Junk Journal digital designs but I need paper that is 8.5X 11. How many pixels would that be? Loving your vids!

    Hi, can you do a tutorial on the 8.5x11 sheet as well?

    • @CrystalsCrafties
      @CrystalsCrafties  11 месяцев назад +1

      You wound not be able to make the 8.5x11 fully seamless. You'd either make the top and bottom seamless, or the right and left seamless by using the same method as I did in this video. The workaround would be leaving a little blank space on the edges you can't make seamless. For example if you want the top and bottom to be seamless you could have deigns overlapping the top and bottom but you'd need to leave a little blank space on the right and left.

    thank you so much, that was such a great tutorial, q: If I want to save it to a 12 x 12 " do I just resize the one square, or can I say duplicate 3 more tiles put them all together, and group and make another 12 x 12" -page size? It’s ok , I figured it out. Great teacher thanks again.

    Do you save the design outside of the white square or do you shrink it down and save it inside the white square?

    • @CrystalsCrafties
      @CrystalsCrafties  Год назад

      Don't shrink it down. When you save the "page" it will cut off everything outside of the white but that is exactly what you want it to do.

    At 24:33 there appears to be a white square at the top left corner of the white flowers. Is there a way to avoid this?

    • @whatisnikkidoing
      @whatisnikkidoing 6 месяцев назад

      i think its because the black rose in the bottom left should also be duplicated diagonally across the paper to the top right corner, over the white flower.

    Is it possible to make the digital paper with clip art images off Google? If I wanted to do one with Lilo & Stitch images ?

      Yes, it would work the same way. Just keep in mind that those images are under copy right protection.

    Hey, it is very good tutorial! :) How about designing for print on redbuble in inkscape. Do I have to convert my exported png(rgb) in cmyk when uploding to redbuble, or they do that? How to know if colours wont be so much different and wont be similar like on the screen? Please help with this, i am so confused whit that stuff about rgb and cmyk, because i am using open source softwers like inkscape and gimp, and they dont have cmyk option for exporting png..

      I don't really know of a workaround for that issue with Inkscape. I recommend purchasing Affinity Designer. It's a one time purchase of $70. It works similar to Inkscape but has additional features like designing in cmyk. I have 1 tutorial on Affinity Designer but there are a lot of others on RUclips.
