    Hi Jet Sy. Thank you for the great video! I know places like Creativemarket and Canva require you to alter the design to make it unique from the original element according to their commercial license. Does it still suffice to duplicate multiple clipart/graphics and arrange them in different sizes and maybe with a different background etc like you have done in your how-to video? I know for example wall art you need to do this, but I'm still unsure about digital paper. Thank you.

    • @travelingdesigner
      @travelingdesigner  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for the comment. :) You can mix images with other images. For example, if you bought a lemon and leaves and other fruits, just mix them in your pattern. It should be ok.

    • @travelingdesigner
      @travelingdesigner  11 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you and you're welcome. :) You can design patterns as big as you want so you don't have any problems when you want to print them. I haven't tried printing on a fabric yet but if you know a printer who does that, you may want to ask them the specifications or requirements for that. :)

    Hello, first of all, thank you very much for your wonderful explanation. It would be great if you could turn on subtitles. I have a little difficulty understanding in my own language. I have a question I would like to ask. When you put the paper up for sale on etsy, do you put it as you prepared it or do you first prepare it and save it in jpeg form? Also, are you adding a single work with each color to your zip file or do you have separate files for each color? I will be glad if I can get an answer. Love.

    • @travelingdesigner
      @travelingdesigner  10 месяцев назад

      Thank you too. Not sure what you exactly mean but for Etsy or any marketplace, it depends on how you offer it to your audience. But you will have to save each pattern in either jpg or png or eps or in whatever format you offer. You can also zip it to be downloaded as one file. Is this what you mean? Or do you mean, do I create the design first and upload to Etsy? If so, you always design first then upload. Also, I would suggest to zip everything so it's just on one file. Especially if you are offering 12 or more patterns in one listing. :) Hope this helps. Let me know if I understood you correctly or not.

    Hello, First of all I'd like to say thank you a lot for this video, It's very helpful as well. However I have some questions if you don't mind. How to set the Jpg. file to 300dpi. on Canva pro? I was created 3600x3600 px. but the resolution less than 300dpi. Thank you in advance for the answer. -:)

    • @travelingdesigner
      @travelingdesigner  6 месяцев назад +1

      Unfortunately, there is no way to directly export a 300 DPI PNG or JPG image from Canva. The only way to achieve this resolution is with the PDF Print format. However, you can always Convert The PDF Using A Third Party Converter like smallpdf, Another tip when you start your Canva project is to Select A Dimension That Is 300 DPI (Unfortunately, the only file format that offers 300 DPI is the PDF Print format. This means you can only export these images as a PDF)

      You can't fully prevent them. That's one downside in selling downloadables. You can't be really be certain even when you have watermarked your printables or you have licenses. One thing you can do is create a mockup or just a small image (low quality) of your product. That way it's not too easy for those people. You can also put watermark on the image. :)

    • @travelingdesigner
      @travelingdesigner  5 месяцев назад

      I believe you can now adjust the dpi if you have a Pro Canva account. However, you can't do it with a free account. There are ways to raise the dpi, though, and to do so you'll need more potent software or tools. For instance, you saved this in JPG format using Canva. It might need to be vectorized first and saved as SVG. Then, open Illustrator and adjust the dpi before saving it once more. And there are still more approaches. You may want to browse the internet for methods that work for you. :)
