In this series, we’re transforming the Commonwealth, one settlement at a time, starting with Sanctuary Hills. No more trash-let’s bring back normal society!
I’m using almost 50 mods from Nexus Mods to help with the clean-up. Check out my mod collection linked below if you want to try the same playstyle. These mods make settlement building easier, enhance environmental visuals, and add more building assets.

I've been searching so hard for up to date sactuary mods to clean the place up, thank you! This will definitely help my never leave sactuary playthrough

I wish it didn't take mods to rebuild Sanctuary like that. I wish it'd be rebuilt over time, or there was a perk or something that let you do it.
Me too, it would’ve made for a really cool feature in game to have settlers restore locations like I’m doing
@@stewpidasohl I agree with you but sadly that wouldn't have been possible in 2015 engine unless Bethesda gets a new game engine ir does one last update for fallout 4 next year
Hey, the idea is to see the before and after. I have watched the building mode and that does tend to be boring. if you have issues with the actually build and slowing down to talk it through is great but actually watching the (build) building gets laborious. I liked the hang mans alley as you divided it up well though. I didn't expect the larger settlement size though I do like it. I think Bethesda did us wrong with the sizes. Keep up the videos and try not to burn out.
Wow, you're only the 2nd person I've seen do this other than myself. However, I did do it differently, so yours is different than mine.
I used conquest and portable workshops. I also have an extended concrete tile set and an Adobe tile set. Also, scrap mods. I also added sim settlements for mostly food and resource structures.
Whenever possible used barn, warehouse and concrete tile sets to patch buildings. Athough I did also use the Adobe tiles as it would likely be used in real life situstions..
I used the portable workshops to clear roads and add lighting. Then I used conquest to make concord a settlement connected to red rocket and starlight drive in.
By using portable workshop it gave me all the wood, concrete, and steel I needed to build up y clearing roads and towns, not settlements.
I also found halfway through my game became a lot less laggy as I removed all the trash I could. I suppose due to the large decrease in world objects even with new construction.
You can walk from sanctuary in the north on clean and light roads all the way past Boston to the southern settlements.
However get off the lighted paths and the commonwealth is still wild. It looks sick from an overpass at night. Oh yes I did repair may overpasses, too adding access points where you could enter them before.
Nice that sounds awesome!! I’d love to go back and set up additional settlements like yours in Concord once I’m done with the main 30. My goal is to someday have the entire map restored back to new :)
I'm guessing you used some mod to refinish the roofs of the houses? Music was nice but at times it drowned out your voice. Nice decorating the individual homes. Each one a bit different, Good job!!!
Just so you know I got it all sorted yeah! TY for posting this video . First time I ever did the mass download it was so easy really. Just loved how the world looked in your video so had to try it. The reason I did not have the repair houses is that you have to go to Concord first and get the Gang,,, I think?!

You don't need Preston at all. The Castle can be opened by using rugs to place a fast travel mat behind door.
interesting trick, thanks! Even if I don't need him, he gives a good structure to finding the first handful of settlements.

Man, i`m completly honest here.
I`m near 7k hours of playing this and i`m using "Raze my settlement".
I watched this for 11 minutes and just can`t keep watching you "cleaning a settlement". ;D
I did a lot of cleaning at sanctuary hills on ps4, after an upgrade the place looks like trash again and some Mods stop working. Now i cant clean it again like before. some stuff I build cannot be remove like if was place by the game.
Please fix the castle
Oh I can’t wait for that one, but it might take a few more episodes before I can get to it. I’m still like level 10 I don’t think I can fight the Queen yet lol

Great question, I think no because those seem to be the only 2 in my collection broken but someone else told me it’s my mod order

@@stewpidasohl great I did a fresh install last week and just downloaded your mod list. Some things not working for me yet. Like clicking on the barriers in the houses gives me no option to restore. Any suggestions?
@@punchylarue4619 oh bummer, ya mods are in a weird place rn. if you aren’t, launch the game using vortex/mod manager so it goes through the script extender. It warns that it’s broken but I load it anyway.
Otherwise it could be a load order thing, one or two of them aren’t even working for me because of that I think. The one you’re focused on is “Rebuild Collection - AIO” so I would try it higher in the list or maybe remove some and add them back one at a time to see what conflicted.
@@stewpidasohl I did get them working, the only problem I have now is with vortex and where all the mods are going.. Right now all I have is fallout 4 and New vegas but all the mods for both went to the same folder, is this normal?
@@punchylarue4619 it doesn’t sound right, they should only be installed to the game that they are for. Not sure what’s happening to ya
