💯 correct removing the oil filter neck/adapter makes it so much easier. Get yourself a stockpile of ofa gaskets so you wont hesitate taking it off again because you will. I just dropped an L32 into my 2002 and had maybe 1/2" clearance. I also took off the alternator and ICM/pulley bracket, removed the battery. Go ahead and take sht off to make things go smooth.
Meh, I started grinding the end of the necks filter sealing surface and I just twist engine a c hair. One thing I always do is change rear cover gasket as 50% of em have splits and are or close to leaking coolant into crankcase/externally...(I've only ever changed 1 rear main crank seal)
Dope vídeos and cool swaps question I got a 2003 Monte Carlo with 3400 v6 engine but it out so I want to swap In a 3800 with the super charger can I use the same harness of the 2003 Monty 3400 engine or I need to get the harness with the 3800 engine and the computer as well or is more to it !!!🤔
@Moneytobemade1988 ur gonna need the engine trans and harness and pcm the gear ratio on ur transmission is different then supercharged so u would either need tuned to keep urs or get the transmission that goes with that setup
@@hand12u thank you I appreciated taking the time to answer my message back another thing when I take the harness out of the other car with the super charge do I disconnect the harnes plug by the fired wall or do I need to disconnect the harness off with all the cables running inside the car. And does it matter the year of the car I’m getting the new engine off ??
The other night you said if I wanted to put a supercharged 3800 and I need the transmission. Also, is the transmission different for a 3800 without a supercharger?
@@hand12u I just discovered a Pontiac 2003 supercharged. I should be able to take the computer motor and transfer that to work at a 99 Buick century I think right?
Also I notice when I accelerate pass 20 mph it jerks and jerks again at 25 mph after that car shifts good I need answers hopefully I don’t need a new transmission
@alexfitnesstv6669 if ur abs and traction lights on its a hub bearing and try to change ur filter and and add Lucas trans fix half bottle and do a shift kit
