In Rory’s stuff you can feel a direct line going all the way back to Mississippi and South Texas. You can say that about Ry and Blind Owl as well but not too many others.

He didn't lose his great singing voice either towards the end.

Hard to tell. The camera work in this is terrible. It just keeps flashing around, occasionally stopping on Rory.
