  • Hi Folks.
    It's time to strip down the L28 and see what I am in for. I'm hoping for just a quick check to see that all is in tolerance and reassemble. If I find any problems, then it will fix them on the go.
    I've been playing around with these engines since I was 14 but never did a nut and bolt strip down, so fingers crossed.

    Always amazing that an old Datsun engine looks that good
    They used some very good steel in the day

    Thank you for taking the time to put this video together. This is very helpful. I've torn down a couple L28s and put in all new gaskets but I have not done a rebuild yet.

    nice Content. may i ask wether you import all your parts ? im from europe havin trouble sourcing almost anything for my 280 since it never was sold officially in europe -.-

      Same here buddy!. I'm keeping as much purchases from the EU myself. I go through Z Services in France. Bery good service and have most parts. If they don't they will get it. No customs charges!
