They really should make a mini series out of it and make it as accurate as possible . He worked off and on for years as a graphic designer and designed at least 40 album covers. Also he worked for years and a comedy true that did a lot of Improv called the Groundlings and it just seems like the guy always worked really hard and put his heart and soul into everything he did... except something weird would happen with the relationships . And according to the stories here he was always popular. When alone often would sometimes have not much of a personality and didn't really seem to know who he was.

It's funny how in the one "musical" introduction to a Steve Martin-hosted SNL episode, the lyrics Phil sings say, "You're going to see the real Phil Hartman tonight," followed by Steve's, "I wouldn't do that, Phil." I think that line also had a ring of truth to it.

I love Phil Hartman. I was in high school when he died and I can still remember it like it was yesterday. It was one of the few times where I was genuinely sad about a celebrity death. There will never be anyone else like him.
Sometimes you watch certain celebrities and you wonder what they were like in real life, when I watch Phil in interviews, clearly he was a wonderful funny guy and that was the real him.
