Would love a Mac Miller Szn done in order (obviously tough now). Starting with one of his earlier albums, probably 'Best Day Ever' then moving to his first step into his artistic reinvention with 'Macadelic', then onto 'GO:OD AM', then 'The Divine Feminine' and finishing off with 'Swimming'. Throwing in WMWTSF after 'Macadelic' would be ideal but that's a lot of reviewing and material in general.

As a lyricist he’s so under appreciated imo. His rhyme schemes and word play were extremely impressive and a lot a ppl overlook that aspect of his music.

That’s how powerful and amazing drugs are man. You have a guy as introspective, self aware and intelligent as Malcolm, knowing exactly where he’s headed and unable to pull away. That’s the scariest part about being an addict. Knowing you might die tomorrow but still ready to gamble because you love it so much.

Mac was able to create despite his usage, not because of it. He was just different with it. His work is incredible but vivid in its overwhelming darkness on this mixtape.
I beg anyone in the thralls of addiction to get help and heal, this shit isn’t a joke.

When you spoke during “weddings” it really hit me....you just get it.
Can't believe it's been a year. This was the first rapper I got into when discovering hip hop. He's had a huge impact on me growing up and graduating high school and getting out into the real world. This mixtape comes from a dark place in his story. A lot of introspective and dark lyrics on this one but arguably his best work. I'm glad he seemed to recover from this darkness for awhile. I hope he's in peace now. RIP to the big homie

Grand Finale actually was intended to be just that. He said in an interview later on. This mixtape was HAUNTING but it's still in my top 3 of his, easy.

Very interesting to see Jon’s reaction with this as an introduction to Mac compared to if he started with say Good AM.. it definitely showcases everything that Mac has to offer (i.e., production, bars, deep thought, existential dread) so I’m glad he went with Faces tbh. By far my favorite piece from Mac’s catalog 🤙🏽

Excited for more Mac videos. I completely understand the need to hear Faces, but it gives so much depth and perspective to do them in order. From 18 - 26 he really showed a ton of growth as a person and a musician and it wild to reminisce about it. As much as his early stuff isn't my favorite anymore, it shows how talented he was at rapping even if it was about about middle class white kid topics. It goes to show you anyone can have vices and you can't do it alone. Rest in power
