As much as I love this, Bartolo Colon’s home run is one of the best moments in Mets history. Also, Wilmer Flores’ walk-off after the not trade should be here too.
For me personally, nothing beats winning the very first World Series in 1969...I was just 11 yrs old turning 12 in Nov. We shocked the baseball world that year.. we were no-hit by Bob Moose and the Pirates... struck out 19 times against Steve Carlton but still won on two homers by Ron Swoboda.. lost the first game of the season to the expansion Montreal Expos... a black cat crossed the league leading Cubs dugout and sealed their fate... lol we were a ninth place team the year before... timely hitting great fielding and pitching... defeated both the Atlanta Braves then the Baltimore Orioles... we were not going to be denied... wonderful memories I will carry with me forever!! LET'S GO METS!!!!!!!!! 😊
That’s an interesting assortment of moments, some I didn’t know, others I forgot. But my biggest memories were: Todd pratt’s homer vs diamondbacks in playoffs, Al lieter’s one game win vs the Reds to get the wild card slot, mo vaughn’s homer vs Yankees, robin Ventura’s walk off grand slam single.
One thing that always facinated me when I was young.. that NOBODY talks about either then or now... 1969 World Series - Game 3 - Tommie Agee hits a home run to lead off the game for the Mets 1973 World Series - Game 3 - Wayne Garrett hits a home run to lead off the game for the Mets 1986 World Series - Game 3 - Lenny Dykstra hits a home run to lead off the game for the Mets First 3 World Series the Mets played in, they led off the game with a home run. I was half expecting Timo Perez to hit one out to lead off Game 3 in 2000!
Missing: Colon's HR Endy's catch Jose's inside the park HR Cliff Floyd's walkoff HR against the Angels (could include Marlon Anderson's inside the park HR from that same game) Clinching 2006 John Stearns' 25th SB
deGrom striking out 8 in a row to start a game is the best remembered Met moment? Um, There should be someone older than 25 working for Metsmerized Online.
@@d1try._.p4wZ, all well and good but I stand by my comment, 18 to 25 year olds shouldn't be in charge of a NY Met history site. They weren't around to see so much history of this team and can only identify with David Wright and Jacob deGrom.

its part 1
god, i miss baseball. and, after 10 plus years of following the page, how did i just find Metsmerized on you tube!!!!

Thanks for the memories 🎶 ❤️
Let’s go mets
Man this is getting me all hype. Thanks for sharing #LFGM
hopefully we can make some more great Mets memories. LGFM!
The one dislike is Justin turner

Oh those Met memories!

Remember in 2015 also David Wright’s big homer in the 1st inning was Game 3
@@mrsmith8423 Wright was not the leadoff hitter in Game 3 in 2015.. Agee, Garrett and Dykstra were in 69, 73 and 86.
@@LiveFromThePorcelainPalace Ik I’m just saying a big 1st inning homer in game 3
@@mrsmith8423 nothing to do with what I brought up tho
Omg..
where is Ron Swoboda's catch in the 69 World Series? The greatest catch in Mets history!
That's what I said
We need an updated one!!!!
Un millón de abrazos cada uno

Colon's HR
Endy's catch

Where is Piazza homer after 9/11?
it’s at 19:27
Meet the Mets
Greet the Mets
Step right up and beat the Mets
This is the first comment in awhile that has made me legitimately laugh out loud
Haha... droll..
That one’s been around for a while.
Boy I sure miss GARY THORNE in the booth.
no Endy Chavez catch?
What about Bartolo Colon home run?😮
Willie Mays first Met Home Run ?
Ick. Hate hearing Michael Kay.
I love both of my NY teams... but ya... Michael Kay is quite annoying... never shuts up! Lol
No Endy Chavez? No Bartolo Colon?
What I’m saying. That Chavez catch was LEGENDARY
So when did Defom strike out 8 in a row to start a game and why are they wearing those dreadful uniforms?
I have non memory of this at all.
The absolute worst franchise in BB history for many reasons.
Lame. Obviously put together by a millennial. No Donn Clendennon, no Ron Swoboda catch, no Ray Knight fighting Eric Davis
this is why it’s called a part 1

But deGrom was in his rookie season

Edward Cricchio yeah true
The best Met in 30 years ties an MLB record in his rookie season, yeah why should anyone care about that.
@@Archangel104th Met history didn't start in 2013. I guess you weren't around in say, 1969?
