This is the most fun season I've been around for in my 31 years. There were so many truly incredible plays and games and overall moments this season. Let's make more!
This was the most fun regular season I’ve ever had watching the Mets in my life. My son was born in February of this year and I’ll look back with fond memories watching the ‘22 Mets with my son beside me - now 4 generations of Met fans.
People don’t talk enough about how clutch Nimmo has been this year. So many of these highlights have him involved Edit: here after we locked him down. LFGM
Almost everyone on the mets have contributed some how to this team's success. Even people who aren't on the team anymore..like jankowski, JD davis, dom smith, patrick mazeika, medina.
I could watch this 100 times over. The Mets had such an amazing season. They didn’t go deep into the postseason, but hey, what they did during the regular season was impressive. We love our Mets!
Thank You We will take our division again. You say that because You guys choked it away. As for the WS We are the defending champs. Buy anyone can win in the playoffs. Yup 😎
Ugh... such a magical season. I had sooo much fun watchin this team all year, maybe my favorite season ever, but the early exit from the postseason was a real let down. It's not often you get to route for the Mets in October, was really hoping they'd make a run 😞 Oh well, can't wait for next year, LFGM
The season didn’t end until with the desired outcome, but what a ride. Had not enjoyed a Mets season like this since 2015, or if you want wire to wire consistency, 2006.
Only better regular season was 1986, that will never be topped. The playoffs were so disappointing this year but the regular season was awesome & they were such an enjoyable team to watch.
The problem isn’t technology, it’s that ESPN has exclusive TV broadcast rights for the upcoming series (and FOX does for at least a couple of later rounds). Gary did temporarily move over to the radio booth for some of the 2006 postseason, but he didn’t do it in 2015-16, so I don’t know if there are contractual issues or something that didn’t exist 16 years ago. Ronnie does games for TBS, and Keith is on the IL, so they wouldn’t be involved anyway. Gary (and Keith) did do pre- and post-game coverage on SNY, and will be doing so again, though I’m guessing Keith will be calling in remotely from Sag Harbor, since he’s still recuperating.
It’s a shame the Braves caught up with the Mets and the Mets lost the division title at the end of the season. Still, it was a very exciting season for the Mets.
1986 - I yelled in front of my yard after we won the WS. 2006 - Beltran caught looking at a called strike 3 to end the game. 2015 - Lost to a scrappy KC Royals team. 2022 - We're gonna win it this year with pitching and clutch hitting. Sweep the Padres. We already can beat the Dodgers in LA. I hope Marte comes back; we need that big bat.
@@dr.manhattan4537 LMAO, Dude what are you taking about? Winning the Pennant is nothing? All three of those teams were Division Champions. ( not sure how long you've been around baseball) 101 wins and not making the post-season...a feat only the Mess can accomplish by choking down the stretch.
@@69ChevyGarage What?!?! The Mets were in the post-season in 2022. Don't have to win a division to make the postseason. Winning 101 games is nothing to be ashamed of as a Mets fan. Certain teams get hot at the right moment, similar to the 87 win Phillies of 2022 and 84 win D'backs of 2023. The 2021 Dodgers won 106 games as the Wildcard team and beat the 107 win Giants to advance to the NLCS and lost to the eventual world series champs Braves. That's the beauty of baseball.
The season is over!!! The division belongs to the Mets!! The Braves are trash!! They only went on that 14 game win streak because they played weak teams!!!
What a disappointment. Out of all the possible outcomes for the Mets at the end of this year, literally the worst possible scenario happened. They lost EVERY SINGLE GAME in Atlanta, and then blew the wild card series against a team that they could’ve and should’ve handled easily. But I guess this is what the Mets do- let down the fans at the very end.

Darin ruff did nothing
Get him off the team
Gary Cohen is the best to ever do it. LGM!
he really is the absolute best in the business. So many years spent together riding this roller coaster of a team.

@@hankster0878 I mean Ralph Kiner is prob second. Hell, I miss Fran Healy. Ha.
Teams different! Ya gotta believe! Loved this regular season and we've still got more to play. Let's go win a ring!
Looking at how this team is in 2023, I took this year for granted. Wow do I miss this team😔

My Mets being amazing this season. 🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙

They were a really good team
Biggest miss on this montage: “Hey McNeil! You gotta work on your legs! You ain’t got no power!”

I'll never get bored of Keith's OHHHHS in the background lol love it.
We had a great year. Just choked in the playoffs
Let's see these Mets tonight!! The NEVER SAY DIE METS!! LOVE YA GUYS AND DON'T STOP BELIEVING!!
Nimmo is so good at hitting insurance run home runs lol

Degroms last year. 😢 but wow this year was fun but next years gotta be different, gotta continue to show growth. And finally make it to the big dance
Can we appreciate how the Mets where 14-5 againts the Phillie
If a team makes it to the postseason their Booth should go to. we can do three broadcast audios, its 2022.

I'm still mad that Marte shot wasn't a homer at the end of the Philies game. Would've been a sexy finish.
A heck of a season 🎉🎉

I really hope the Mets re-sign Nimmo, he's been phenomenal
I miss Dom Smith.
How is McNeil winning the batting title not on here

9:46 punches his teammate in the head and knocks his helmet off lol.
They didn’t put nick Plummer’s first hit that tied the game
watching in Sep 2023 smh
god I miss this team
me too@@whoasked9500
The couldn't use Dom Smith down the stretch?? Goodness. JD Davis was better than what they have currently as well. Possibly giving Vogelbach a nod.
If you were told on opening day that we won over 100 but didn't win the pennant I think you'd be ok with that.
Lol it’s like the trades we made hurt the team more than help…
Great! Now do the GREATEST misses and how they blew the division championship!
Sure it was a great year, but if we don't win this wild card it will be one of the worst busts. Come on boys.
What a season this was, just a shame we gotta wait another 10 years for another one like this because god hates this team.
Enjoy the wildcard. What a divisional race. GO BRAVES 😎⚾
Left out Nick Plummer’s bomb off Knebel😔
sny unfortunately didn't get to broadcast that game pretty sure it was espn or something.
Likewise
What's happening
After that they havent won a game. If that keeps
Up they wind up in the cellar

101 wins and won nothing...imagine that.
Braves 101 wins and won nothing.
Dodgers 111 wins and won nothing.
Yankees 99 wins and won nothing.
