The TSA Pre-check is an optional program that you typically pay for. It is available at nearly all US airports. They essentially do a background check on you, and if no red flags show up, you're good to go. While you don't have to take off your shoes or belts, the big advantage is that during busy times, The TSA pre-check line takes a fraction of the time to get through. I've never spent more than 5 minutes in a pre-check line, and typically there is no waiting, just walk right through easy-peasy.
If you’re going to spend time at the airport, you should interview people that are going home. How many of them are miserable sick and sad? That’s Vegas. The only vacation you take were you swear you’ll never do it again every time and you go home sick. if you go to Hawaii or any place like that, you come back with good memories and your soul is recharged from nature, you come back from Vegas you’re toxic broke ashamed and sick. What a town!
I fly a lot. Parking is easy to find. There is a huge price difference between short and long term parking. You parked in long term in Las Vegas and looked at short term in Austin. Short term is expensive so people don't park there long term and the short term people can meet and pick up their people. And no, you're not supposed to turn your phone off on a plane. Just airplane mode. The line for taking nothing out of your bag, you need TSA Pre Check or Clear. Costs extra and they do a background check. LAS is my favorite airport. While I don't smoke anymore, I like that people can. They also feed the machines to help keep it so we don't pay state income tax.
A word of warning, slot machines at the airport are among the "tightest" in the city. They don't have offer great payout rates because....like where else are you going to go lol? (you're mainly there to get on a plane to leave or arrive).
Ya they say they are tight but I've done a lot better many times at the Vegas Airport. My buddy lost $1500 in Vegas but won it back at thr Airport on his way home. I never skip the airport slots.
@@sexygeek8996 I'm not surprised the hotels haven't gone back to pay toilets (eg., back in the old days they actually had these though I'm not that old to know whether any Vegas establishments had them).

In the line where some people are taking things out of bags and some arent - most major US airports are phasing in new machines that can scan your bag without requiring you to take your laptop or other electronics out first. They’re very expensive, so they’re rolling them out as they’re installed rather than just installing all of them at once, so some lines make you take your electronics out and some don’t.
I live in NW Arizona and Whorehouse Harry's airport is the one we and my visiting relatives use a lot. I like it. It is a clean and friendly place. Since I am an old fart I usually wait for arriving guests at the Thunderbird up on the upper floor and have them meet me there.

Bergstrom and Reid have the exact same security systems in place 😂…everyone goes thru the same screening except if you are TSA Pre. LAS has changed in the 13 years we've been coming here. We fly out of Ohio airports due to expenses of small airports. Columbus (CMH) and Cincinatti (CVG) are our departure airports. We like only non-stop flights now and the return flight is always a red eye. LAS is always busy, and our flights are generally always full, can you say (Economy airlines). We've had stops before in Houston, Pheonix, L.A., and Dallas. Didn't care for any of these, but if you get used to traveling this way, you get used to one and don't pay attention to the layouts and crowds. TSA is a really convoluted experience no matter which airport you go to. Used to get pre check when we flew but started getting no pre check last several years. As this is the only airports we use, my view isn't much to compare with. My wife has to stop at the smoking slot machine facility first thing arriving and last thing leaving. Only airport we know of with that.

Put all the fun stuff after security so that you don't have to worry about the clock and lines and can enjoy all the shops and stores... I really liked this video, Steven! You asked what's your favorite airport. Of the 15 major US airports I've been to, my favorite is O'Hare, with Vegas a close 2nd. Wow. Yes, everyone has WAY MORE experience flying than you. You have never heard of TSA Pre-Check? You really need to travel more. All good. It's just interesting that your channel viewers travel to Vegas & know exactly how TSA Pre-Check works in all airports as far as security & you describe it like it's new to world this year. So bizarre.
Harry Reid International is not a great airport. Folks should know that the slot machines at the airport have the worst odds of any you will find. Concourses are narrow, and the men's bathroom at the end of the Southwest boarding area features 1 each toliet and 1 each urninal? And this is a major city airport! Compare this airport to Portland, Oregon. The new concourse for United and Southwest there is wide and tall with a modern, bright design. The airport has been named #1 in the nation by Conde Nast for several years. Plan a trip up there sometime (in the Summer) to see the difference!
Just FYI, McCarren Airport still exsist but it's for the private airplanes for executives. Henderson Executive Airport now called McCarren a stone throw from Las Vegas (Harry Reed)

Never have never will
I use film lol
