Thanks! Simple instructions with simple tools. Also thanks for not having any annoying background music. I don't mind going out and buy a simple tin snips but don't need instructions for complicated expensive tools so this was very helpful.
I have a question about the ends of the ductwork. The part you cut off looked like you made your own convoluting to fit into another duct. The other end I noticed was an end that was convoluted at the factory. How do you do that and what tool do you use. I don't want to buy another piece just to get that part.
Would love if you could re-do the video with better sound quality. It's hard to hear you! Simple enough explanation with the visuals though, thank you!
This guy is super informative but honestly I wish he would work with making his subtitles a little better that would make a much better video otherwise he does great.
Yes i did, but its not a good idea to you the compound avaiator snip...they make a serrated edge on the pipe on the short blade on them doesnt make for an even cut, use some v19's or other smooth edge long snips
I'm so grateful to find this video, I didn't know how the side were connected after cutting to your desire. I was gonna hammer the shit out it to make same connect 😂😂😂😂 thanx again.
Still not sure why some tinners use their "red" snips when cutting 6"-8" (26-30ga) round pipe... Very slow - try using Malco M14's when cutting light gauge pipe - faster and cleaner.
You cant take apart spiral pipe like that kd pipe so thats not how to cut round pipe. Its more like how to cut flat ductwork... and is this guy speaking english?

I could've never imagined that ducts could be opened like that to make cutting easier! Thanks sir.

You're the best for ductwork!😀
Your channel is very informative my friend. I like it!
Thanks for this. I was particularly interested in seeing how the seam is put together.
+lovefeist great
Yeah, me too. The seam looks easy to put together but for some reason it’s not coming together for me.
I was hopping you would show that!
I cut my hands just watching you!!! Wear your gloves people
That was a great explanation. Helped a lot, thanks!
Sandy B great hope you can cut ductwork like a pro

Thanks for the posting.
Thank you sir 👍🏽very helpful
My duct is already assembled and I need to shorten a 5 ft. duct to a 2 ft. duct without taking the duct apart. It's 12 inch round duct.
Thank-you! Very helpful video.
thank you kindly for the how to video

themrhelperguy
I do. but just email me your cell phone number. I will let preview it. Okay.
Dr.Shawnaphd@yahoo.com. Thanks.
Shawna Costonphd sent me an e mail themrhelperguy@gmail.com
don’t you want to use the other handed snips so the waste material is the one being pushed upward, and not the good piece?
Agreed, cut from the opposite direction or use a green handle snip
Will he respond to comments still? Let's find out
Of course Trevor, Im far from not being able to respond to comments.
@@themrhelperguy that was fast
It was luck I just happened to be online.
Name of Sheers cutter
I think they were Milwaukee offset sheet metal cutters.
What positions are there in duct fitting. sorry can someone tell me because I am having my kid with homework
+Stephen Alade can you explain what you mean by positions
I think we can use grinder with metal cutting ring. Same resut, faster, minimum disassembling
I bet that edge is hella sharp after being cut, be careful.
Good one
I'm so grateful to find this video,
I didn't know how the side were connected after cutting to your desire.

thanx again.
A big hammer is your last option
why is the wood warping in this video?
Have you got nose plugs in?
wildstyle666brooke no I don't have nose plugs in but I hope you got the gist of this simple video.
And 2 years later, wildstyle666brooke is still a douche!
Good posting though

+Timothy Baird I will certainly give it a try
He hasn't got gloves
+paparoni100 no gloves
You should've used green snips not red
Or cut from the opposite direction, lol.
Don't show how installed round duct work can be cut when re-opening them is NOT an option.
Cut 4 inch round duct work dryer vent assembled ruclips.net/video/tacWGAozSlk/видео.html
I got so many cuts on my hands lol
What does lok mean.
@@themrhelperguy meant to put Lol "laugh out loud"
I thought it might have been a ductwork snap lok reference. We are all business here. No laughing.
hot to cut round ductwork, just freaking cut it gg
The duct was cool to the touch.
Essentially showing how to cut sheer metal as the duct, not assembled, isn't at all 'round!."
You don't cut assembled duct. If it is assembled you would need to disassemble this.
You cant take apart spiral pipe like that kd pipe so thats not how to cut round pipe. Its more like how to cut flat ductwork... and is this guy speaking english?
This pipe comes apart. Just drop it on the ground seam side up.
Wrong way to cutting
목소리가....
That's good right.
SMH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wtf
smsmetal what's smh
Why don’t you just mark it properly? That’s not perfect cut lol
No
This is NOT a helpful video as the "round" duct can be flattened to cut.
lesterw100 there is a bit of a reason why it's round
Thanks!
