@@brothacaimIn our Japanese history, the life of most common people has not been rich. Japanese watchmakers wanted every working person to wear a watch. They worked hard to catch up with Swiss-made products. I am grateful to them for that. Thanks for your comment.
I have a Citizen Eagle 7 remained from 83'(it belongs to my father and purchased in 85' i guess) and Tissot PR50 Automatic remained from 2007. Both were serviced around a year ago, Citizen performs much better on the wear when it comes to timekeeping.
Nice watch. Citizen is trying to embrace the mechanical watch community, but that is a dying breed. Mechanical watches are inaccurate expensive art, but I'd rather see them keep innovating with quartz and produce more caliber 0100s worth better looking dials, like this one.
Thanks for your comments. It is a nice watch, I agree. This was my first Citizen mechanical watch. What surprised me is that the winding feeling of the mainspring is very smooth compared to SEIKO and other watches. Citizen is known for its Eco-Drive, and that impression has certainly changed. As you said, I am looking forward to the innovation of quartz watches, but for Japanese people who still yearn for mechanical watches, it is also nice to have a good quality mechanical watch at a reasonable price.
Citizen and Tissot. Both brands offer excellent value.
Yes, they are. I think so, too.
most japanese watch brands(casio, citizen, orient, seiko) offer tremendous value for money...whereas swiss is only tissot, and maybe...MAYBE,wenger

@@antidot556 Thanks for the comment.
It's nice. I do not yet own a Tissot automatic. I would love to get one.
Nice classical design..
I think so too. The movement is also very good.
@@LEOLEOROCKWatch No doubt. It would be even nicer if it beat 28,800 bph
@@stanleyling6116 Yes, it does. Personally, I feel it is superior to SEIKO movements in the same price range.
@@LEOLEOROCKWatch Agreed with your statement
Is the glass sapphire?
Unfortunately, no. It is ordinary crystal glass.
It looks a lot like the SARB033
Thank you for your comment.
Yes, I think so. The main difference in appearance is that the glass is a classic dome shape, while SARB033 is flat.
