No hay diferencia en la operatividad. Si hay diferencia es en la precisión. 8t63. Diferencia media mensual ±15 segundos (cuando se lleva en la muñeca a temperaturas entre 5°C y 35°C). 6t63. Diferencia media mensual ± 20 segundos (cuando se lleva en la muñeca a temperaturas entre 5°C y 35°C).

Thanks for watching. I have a number of Swatch watches that stopped working too. This is still the only way to get a professional to fix them, as it is difficult to take out the internals by myself, but it is certainly hard to find a place that can fix them.

Sorry for the late reply. I don't have a video right now, but you use the in-dial at 9 o'clock to correct the time difference. I think you would adjust it according to the time difference between your area and Tokyo (-20 hours to +4 hours). To operate, first press the small button (A button) at the 8 o'clock position for 4 seconds and release it. When the second hand stops, you are in the time zone setting mode, so use the A button at 8 o'clock and the B button at 10 o'clock to set the time difference. You can now set the time zone, but I believe this movement will not function to receive radio waves if you set the time zone to a region other than Tokyo. Unfortunately, I do not know about those sold overseas.

Usually it runs as soon as I replace it with a new battery. If you replace the battery in the correct position, there is no need to put it in the light and wait for it to recharge. I have done a number of battery replacements of this type and they start working the moment they are replaced. I think there is a small protrusion, is it in the correct contact position? I suggest you check again.

@LEOLEOROCKWatch thanks for the quick response. Just opened it up again and tried a brand new rechargeable battery and still nothing. Checked position and all contacts are proper. Went outside and put it direct sunlight for a few minutes and died as soon as I walked inside. BTW, I did the proper reset, so I've done all possible from what I've read. Any other suggestions?

@@mex3000cf I see. I had one watch that did not work even after replacing the battery. Since it did not work even after replacing it with a battery that works in other watches, this must be considered a malfunction that cannot be dealt with by an individual, since the cause is not a battery problem. I think the only way is to request the manufacturer to repair it. We have to get an estimate and consider whether we should repair the watch.

Thank you for your comments. Does resetting the stopwatch cause the hands to shift? How many watches do you have in the entire series? 8T63 is a Japanese movement. VK63 is a Hong Kong made movement. I do not see such symptoms in any of the watches I own. Unfortunately, if the symptoms are severe, I suggest you contact the manufacturer.

I have tried some in watch shop and the employee said it's all the same, u can check on ur video 2:21 ~ 2:40 and try ur stopwatch, then tell me the results thank you, I'm just wanna know why and how to fix it. Maybe I'm wrong, well...just try it and focus on the minute hand(point to the wrong hand by mistake earlier).

@@PH-vj8gp Sorry. I watched the video part you mentioned, is the minute hand off when the stopwatch is reset? I can't tell.... Is it the in-dial at 9 o'clock? Or is it the regular minute hand? Thanks for your reply. While the stopwatch is measuring, the small seconds hand at 6 o'clock ticks the normal time. Naturally, the minute hand also advances with time, so it is unlikely that resetting the stopwatch caused the hand to shift. In the video, the stopwatch is reset in a few seconds, but is it off each time? I don't think so. The video has been viewed 10,000 times, but this is the first time I have heard such a comment, so I cannot say for sure. @@cyrussataravalla6731 Thank you for your question. I personally think the 1st Generation is better, depending on design and other preferences. Even considering that it is a limited edition, I think US$1750 is a bit expensive. Caliber are both the same 6R15, so there is no difference in accuracy. If it is in good condition, I would be more attracted to the 1st Generation for US$750.

The stopwatch on this watch is 1/1 second, so the movement is the same as the small seconds. Therefore, the small seconds can be put to sleep. This is not a particularly useful feature.

Im currently looking to purchase this watch on eBay and can not find any info online regarding a miyota’s “sleeping seconds” function on any of its chrono’s, although it may not be advertised because it’s somewhat useless. I assume you mean that you can enable the small running seconds to cease running altogether. If you don’t mind instructing, how do you enable the sleeping seconds?

Thank you for subscribing to my channel. I checked and the small seconds can be stopped even under normal use. In other words, it seems that only the small seconds is hacked and the watch itself is ticking normally. Maybe the purpose is to reduce battery drain.

Thank you for your comment. I got the case and bracelet from an auction on Yahoo Japan. The crystal is the one that came with the case. There are no-logo watches of this type for sale for about US＄60, so it may be less costly to use them. They are probably made in China, so you may be able to find them on eBay, etc.

What surprised me is that the winding feeling of the mainspring is very smooth compared to SEIKO and other watches. Citizen is known for its Eco-Drive, and that impression has certainly changed. As you said, I am looking forward to the innovation of quartz watches, but for Japanese people who still yearn for mechanical watches, it is also nice to have a good quality mechanical watch at a reasonable price.
