Either treat the roads entirely or completely shut everything down so we don't have to beg our employers to stay home. It's probably costing everyone more money getting into all these accidents.
@@ronp-eb9bh true, I mean, it's cold, freezing and this frozen custard shop in Newnan was open, who is buying ice cream in this weather??? They waited until the very last minute to send their employees home, and most of their employees are older teens and young adults who probably don't have a clue how to drive on icy roads. I understand they are not making money if they close, but I think human life is more important than their bank accounts. People are just greedy and lack empathy these days.
No. Ga drivers aren't prepared like northerners. I was stuck in it yesterday. Thank God I had some masking paper rolls in my truck bed. I used the paper to get off the ice patch. It was a real mess out there. There were cars down the embankment, in people's yards, and wrapped around signs and hydrants. If told to stay home ... STAY HOME!!
I’m in Ohio and I live on top of hill. For future reference, no car can get up an icy hill. It’s iffy on a salted icy hill. Only try the hill when so much salt has been used that it actually melts the ice and the road surface is ice free.
I barely was able to make it to work and I live in the area shown in the video... I plan on getting a hotel room close to work because I don't want to risk my life or car getting back home. My poor cat will have to go without food and my workplace in cobb county didn't even inquire about my situation!
It’s scary I low key made an attempt to pick up my brother from the airport. I’m usually very precautious about things like this.. but let’s just say it was nobody but the Most High Yah that let me make it back without any accidents
If you know like I know from from being up north you can use sand or kitty litter to spread out on the roads to get traction sand or kitty litter to get traction on a icy road
Jesus Christ North Deshong and Rockbridge road looked like an apocalypse. People abandoning there cars walking with there children in hand having to avoid sliding cars, babies in carriers and mothers struggling with the long walk and ice I thought one lady was gonna slip into the ditch and drop her baby. So sad. 😢 I cut through Waters edge and finally made it home.

I don't know WHY they haven't done that SMH 😔
...Because some overly greedy executive has to make sure that he or she gets their end of year 'good slave driver' bonus 💵 😶
@ronp-eb9bh pitiful 😔

😂😂 People should use common sense and drive. If someone can not drive in this little bit of snow, should NOT have their license.
Some jobs still expected employees to show up for work but we don’t all have snow chained tires or wings to fly.
😂😂😂😂 You dont need chains. It is common sense. The majority of these people should not have license and drive.. .im embarrassed for you people.
Yep like Publix!!
@@justmissjamey Good driving can't overcome completely iced roads. 🤷🏽♂️

@@atlienrider6048I’m from Boston but live in Atlanta. Even where I’m from it’s a lot of accidents if there is all ice on the roads.

That's so sad. These business people don't get rich by caring about others, that's for sure. Stay safe and I hope you can get back to your cat soon.
It is insane that you people can not use common sense and drive. That weather and snow is not that bad, and its embarrassing watching this stuff. Lol.

Yes lord
Driving in Atlanta a pain because all the darn HILLS
if you have rear wheel drive... drive backwards up the hill... I used to do this to get up hills in Connecticut in icy conditions
The city government should plan to spread salt on the steep and narrow roads before the snow falls.
Obviously you don't know Atlanta n suburbs are mostly hills! 😆😆😆😆

Ice is ice. Even winter tires wouldn't get you through there.

She's right - Panola Rd is very "hilly"! 🤣🤣🤣
How can these people not drive?!?!😂😂😂 Common sense is not so common
We don't have tire chains or snow tires.
No ice on streets in Cherokee Bartow counties
They need to put changes on there tires ⛓️
Smart matter…😎🪶😜🎸
Hello
Prayers for everyone; They should use a psychic.
WHY are new people out AFTER last night. Not smart
Ask Trump for help!
If people would have tire chains or a cable that fits on tire will be able to drive on the ice can't drive no faster than 40
😆
Snowchaines...
Who would be dumb enough to be out in there?
I went out because Bartow county roads are clear and dry
If someone has a license, they should be able to drive in that😂😂😂
People that have to work because their jobs didn’t close
Panola is always chaos with bad black drivers!!!! With no insurance!!!
