- Let's make a dollar tree halloween arch and easy fun halloween cricut joy projects.
Hey Friends, sorry I have been a busy bee and went back to teaching this past September. Here is a fun Halloween inspired video of the projects I created using scrap wood, dollar tree items, HTV glitter and my cricut joy machine. I made some fun signs to decorate throughout my house with canvases that I painted black along with some leftover bass wood that I cut to various sizes and painted. Added vinyl pictures and sayings. Super fun and much cheaper than a trip to the hobby lobby. Just saying- if you have the stuff, get creative. The dollar tree stuff was a lot of garland and lights mostly and some pumpkins. I would say the arch cost me under 35 bucks to decorate. I used scrap wood for my witches welcome sign and just painted and added some vinyl. The shirt was the quickest project. I cut and weeded the htv easy breezy and pressed it on. I was ready to wear it asap for it was apart of my costume this year.
The cement pumpkins took about 2 days to cure. I painted them and added black accents. I added Fall mums in them later in the month. Super cute. The wooden pumpkin sign is a quick and fun way to add decor to any room or in my case, my cozy classroom.
So the brooms were 1 inch wooden dowels leftover from my blanket ladders. I painted them a bronze brown color and added that dollar tree broom looking stuff at the bottom with some twine.

I missed what did you use for broom?
I used round wooden 1 inch dowel I had left over. Painted them and added that broom looking stuff from dollar tree 😉
