Very nice review sir, it was a challenge to align the cabinet's final side piece. That front panel with the coin slot was weird to but on also. But me and the wife got it done without killing each other lol.
Great job getting this unit. I got mine on clearance from Walmart as well recently. First thing I did was mod it to add Big Blue, Marvel vs Capcom and the other X-Men one. Plus Simpsons was modded shortly after with TMNT+, C&D and Ghouls & Ghosts. Also those round orange replacement parts for the joysticks that's 8 directional works better for me on fighting games.
That video is coming. Truth is, Christmas is here, and that video will have to wait until after the New Year. BUT it Should be a Fun Mod. I believe I can do a ton with this 6 button layout. When I Soft-Mod this Cab, My only limitation will be not having a coin button. This issue effects consoles mostly, as some need a start and select keys...... Regardless, of the physical limitations of the control deck, we should be able to do a lot to this unit without Hard-Modding it. Side Note: Thank You for checking out the Channel. It Means a Ton to me.
I ended up getting the non deluxe and after 2 weeks it wouldn't turn back on. It took about 5 days of back and forth and a new PCB is on the way. The sticks are so much better than the gen 1, but I did have a difficult (to the point I cut out) removing the square gates.
Would you be able to use the same method as you did with the simpsons to mod this cab? wouldn't nova launcher and the same APK's with the romset work for this just the same (without having to do the mystery dawson experience 4 player fix)?
@@TechicallyTNT (Edit: Never mind, I found a solution. It’s called FighterDroid2P.) I just bought one of these and apparently it’s unable to play 2 player games on RetroArch because the software isn’t able to recognize the player-2 controllers. I check on the Team Encoder website and it appears there are no plans to fix this issue (although it seems to be an issue that they fixed on previous cabs). As someone who is more tuned into the Arcade1up modding scene, do you know anything about this? Should I hold out hope of it being fixed someday?
"I almost pooped myself" 🤣 Great video, fun to watch! Excited to see what else you do with this :)
Thank You, I'm learning as I go. Glad you liked it. I've got a few more Simpsons Mods to do first, BUT Yes I can't wait to Mod this one.

Outstanding, Glad you two got it together, and thanks for checking out the Channel. That means a ton to me.
P.S. There is a warmlight USB led strip you can use for that marquee. They're under $10 :) I can DM you the link if you want.
Please send me the link, and Thank You.

That is on the list of videos to be made. So many videos, so little time. Thank you for checking out the Channel. It means a ton to me.
Sure thing man. I try to support best I can you do a lot for the community. Least we can do
@@thealatorresquad Thank you Brother.
Do you have a softmod video for this coming soon??
I did BUT lost all the video due to a bad drive. I'll be reshooting the video soon.

Great Question. No Sir is the answer. You Need adb, and a few other things. When I'm done with the Simpsons I'll make a video or two about this one.
great video.
Thank You Sir. Means a ton that you checked out the video.
another fantastic steal! GG
Thank You And Thanks For Checking out the Video
Great timing as I have the "deluxe" model in my cart for 399, thinking about selling my Gen1 SF and getting this, rather than gutting that Gen1.
I like this one more then the Gen1.....
They have over 8,000 units of these in overstock according to a retailer’s website. Wait for a major sale to purchase if you’re interested
Maybe I'll Get Two. Thanks for checking out the Video.
Any idea if this hardware is powerful enough to run CP System III games like Street Fighter 3? Using the Android arcade emulator I mean.
No idea, IF FBN can emulate that rom, (I think it can, I'm not a fight gamer), if it can then I'd say this hardware should be able to.
