Rebecca I'm honoured to say I knew Paul from when I was a child in Birkenhead I didn't interact with him much because he was 8 years older than me but my family was very close to his especially my late nan and from what my mum told me was he was always a caring person who was in her words different but very funny and loving and that's what set him apart ❤
I have loved this show for sonlong . Paul O'Grady was the best Ambassador for this organisation. The innocent ones are the victims ofchuman cruelty. Battersea has done such a wonderful job in trying to givecthese innocent victims of human cruelty. May they go on foever, ,Saddest lose was the passing of Paul,
I know Paul is well known in the UK, and not so much elsewhere - but I love his humour and the For The Love of Dogs series he's done. Also, I think it's so sweet the way he talks about his Dogs and farm animals, and is so committed to helping. I'm more of a Cat person, but I like Dogs too, but some of those huge, drooly dogs like the Italian Mastiff with the tumour on its jaw...yowza...sorry, but that's a deal breaker ( the drool...not the tumour). Good thing some people love them.
Victoria. Yes I agree with you 100 percent. I’ve had dogs all my life I’m old now but I still have lots of dogs. I could never imagine a life without dogs 💖💖💖💖💖💖😂
I'm glad Roxy didn't get adopted.....or she wouldn't have gone home. These people really love her an KNEW Roxy was their dog.....I mean she knew it! She didnt say if its Roxy......she said when when we get her home. What a sweet lil girl too, mommy it'll be alright! I think EVERY dog is beautiful......especially the old, sick, shy, withdrawn, feral, aggressive, 3 legged, aloof, disabled, etc.
it the best show love this show mind you it makes me sad a lot of the time when ever the sad cases come in but every one at batters dogs trust do a realy good job.Anne Walker
I’ve always said and always will say that anybody getting a puppy dog any animal SHOULD beVETTED. Home check ect before they even hold any animal and dogs cats need to be chipped and neautered spayed before they go to whoever they go to. In the end theses poor innocent animals are the only ones that suffer cruelety neglect ect 😭 so very sad. Paul you are an 👼 angel. Wish the world had more beautiful souls like you in it🌍😇
Rescue centres do vet those who adopt animals. When I got my rescue kittens I had to show I had everything ready for the kittens, how much experience I had with cats and as it was Covid I did a live video call and had to show them everything in my flat and have the safety measures they required in place. Then I went on the waiting list until they had kittens suitable for me. I would assume Battersea does the same only they don't show that side of it on the show they take down a lot of information about you and you have to provide ID and proof of address purely to prevent the animals being used for fighting or breeding and cruel and neglectful owners. They also require a microchip and whilst the owner is registered the rescue centre is also registered on the chip so if anything does happen they can be returned or contact the owner. Also you sign documents with the rescue centre agreeing with their terms and conditions like returning the animals to them if it doesn't work out and if you don't agree to do all that you won't be allowed to adopt from rescue centres.
Janet l remember watching this show and it reminds me of one episode a little puppy came in it was a sort of a poodle it was so many weeks old it ended up with a brain disorder and sadly there was nothing that could be done for this poor puppy they thought it would be the best thing to do was put the pup to sleep l'll never forget that part it was such a adorable little pup I cried my eyes out my mum used to say before she sadly passed away why do you watch it because it just up set's you l told her l was a dictated to the show but as the show initials you have to go with the good and bad times l could not work in these homes I'd be crying every minute of the day l wouldn't be able to control myself especially the sad cases were they have to be put down looking after the animals I'm sorry couldn't handle that but I truly love that it that I'm not that strong willed when it's anything to do with animals may be it because I've had dog's in my life and had to part with them l don't know but I get very emotional God l can't watch lassie on TV but I bubble my eyes out people have sad I'm stupid there only dog's l keep telling them what every l'll never change l say the more you know about humans the more you love animals and thats the way it is with me
That pup was Noodle and she couldn't use her back legs at all and she was so unbalanced. She was also deteriorating from it she wouldn't have had a good quality of life. Her story was heartbreaking she was only a young pup
@@wickedwitchoftheeast88 thankyou so much for your reply l appreciate it, it's bean a few years now,, but l still think about that but they did the right thing even though it was hard for battersea staff especially the lady that was looking after this adorable little cutie, even Paul ogrady couldn't handle this l know l couldn't handle it either, but thankyou again for your reply l appreciate it so much.!!! 🐶🐶🐕🐕
@@janetross8601 I remembered the episode because Noodle was about four or five months old it was so sad but it wouldn't have been fair to let her keep suffering. When my cat became ill there was nothing that could be done the vet could have done treatment to prolong him for a few weeks but he would have suffered so much pain and I couldn't do that to him so I made that painful decision to put him asleep. Its heartbreaking making that decision but I had to do what was best for my cat just like Battersea did what was best for poor Noodle. The episode is on You Tube I watched it again during lockdown
Paul you wonderful beautiful man heart ❤️ of gold. Poor dogs evil 👿 inhuman. Humans. Dogs animals all creatures. They don’t ask for much. Love ❤️ exercise and care. Why is this so hard. To do. Yeah they all want cute puppy kittens. But as soon as they get few. Months older they loss interest. And animals suffer so much. Imagine that poor dog one year old with puppies just a puppy herself Shame. Paul is so naturally funny. He’s a ledgend. Ahhhh Roxy. Mmmmmmm😢
Is the trap in the floor mama dag dropped the ball in where they keep the toys. I had seen them b4 but didn't give them much thought until I saw her do it
Rest in peace Paul, thanks for everything you did in your life😔❤️

When you go on holiday put your dog or cat in a registered kennel. There are plenty of good ones around. You can check them out first.
Denise G- Hill I usually have a family member look after my dog Buddy when I go away on holiday.
