Looks like doggy poo. Don't feel bad, mine do too. The covers on my pickups do not align with the screws underneath. Looks like someone added the covers at some point. Good video, nice to see how they come off. I like them better with the covers, just my preference. I would have done it differently, by that I mean, the screwdriver would have slipped and scratched the top of the guitar, I'm a horrible butcher.

Hey did it help the tone? Thats what im looking for? i use 100 watt tube heads and four twelve cabs with greenbacks birch cabs. Lexicon mpx G2’s I dont get loud its the tone my birch cabs put out through a good mic. At low volumes. Im using variacs now they even cleaned my amp up even more. Thanks to Eddie for the tech it works.
