Chasing Anthems
США
Добавлен 29 мар 2018
Chasing Anthems - based out of Northern California, is an original Country-Rock music duo formed in 2018. The group was founded by Richard Hibbard and Travis Howell, who became friends while sharing their passion for music, community and church, while volunteering at their local church’s youth group.
Coming from different musical backgrounds, styles, and even interests, both Richard and Travis have combined their passion for Country-Rock music and forming it into their own unique style of original music. When selecting a band name, the pair settled on the name “Chasing Anthems” based on the groups anthemic style choruses heard in many of their original songs. Their music can be streamed on all major streaming platforms, as well as heard on regional and streaming radio stations. Chasing Anthems has performed up and down the west coast, as well as Nashville, Tennessee, headlining at various casino, events and festivals.

The fact that he is blind is not even the amazing part. The amazing part is how he plays his guitar on his lap with his fingers like he’s playing a piano. And then on top of that he plays like SRV. Killer! He left us way too soon.
Great stuff. I saw DiMeola at the peak of his powers IMO, back years ago, in Seattle. Excellent show. A bit BRIEF to be honest, but yeah. Not to garner hate or be controversial, but as people benchmark these guys...oh by the way, I thought McLaughlin, my least favorite (still a favorite) of the three was having a brilliant night but his volume was lower than Al and Paco and the camera person didn't seem to like him as much....anyway as people benchmark this, I would say that none of these three are capable of playing as well as John Williams. I love John and much of his playing though occassionaly it is clinical. I would say 'that' level, is (near) the highest in history. And according to many, Williams included, Barrios is he best by far, ever. Best composer for guitar and best player. Primitive recordings capture him btw.
with age and care his death growls have grown deeper and more sinister. A shame the drummer fumbled the blastbeat at 6:27 -6:32.
'He's Calling' from the album Real Live. Showcases his middle eastern roots and influence. A Masterpiece
Video is from 1999
You don't judge Iommi by his technical standard or flash licks, that would be like judging Hendriks by today's standards. Iommi is the father of metal feel, melody and grit.
I think this was in Japan, you know they all walked out of that show thinking, what the hell did I just witness.
What performance was this from?
Where all my skaters at? 🛹
Go to proud to be an American interview. He explains how he discovered the tapping. like half way through
Just so everyone knows, the band name is NOT “The Eagles”. Just “Eagles”.
At the Drive In (another post-hardcore band and father of the genre) are great live as well. Better than Fugazi live.
Zakk is in the top 1! But I give Tom Scholz a CLOSE second.
there was no red guitar in the us festival your channel is a fucking peice of shit !!
"Disco Vibe"?.....stand corrected
All these people saying joe pass this, ella that, and oscar this and that... just know these are the artists you typically get down the rabbit hole when searching "jazz guitar" for the first time. Jazz is much more broad than the sounds of these great players, pls keep in mind in case u do decide to listen to more.
Simply amazing..I've seen rush 80 times..never got boared...memorizing to watch live..this group iss in a class by themselves..first time I saw them live 79 cape cod coliseum new nothing about music at that time..I immediately picked up how special they were..by tor..fly by night necromancer..2112 ect..I was like that drummer was in human...
This isn't even Jeff's regular band! They were the show's house band that played with the guest each week. Omar and Marcus are Gods in music, it was such a great show. Myself and many commenters here were lucky to see him live. As I was watching Jeff play, all I could think was how implausible and unbelievable it was? He was too much.
Jam in the van series. Austin Texas
3-piece band? The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
TO Hell With The Devil
First concert 1976 with starz I was 13.
mind = 💥
Well done you just discovered the best band on the planet.......PERIOD! Don't try and compare these highly talented and beautiful ladies to any other band, there is no other band that can even get close to the capability of this band. I'm 65 yrs old and this is the best band I've ever seen/heard especially live! You ain't heard nothing yet!!
Larry Bird of guitar in so many ways
No blues players on Telecasters? Allow me to introduce you to the "Master of the Telecaster", Albert Collins. Look him up for your own sake. Or just watch "Adventures In Babysitting".
There are a number of players out there (new kids) who technically are on a similar or maybe even better level if you look purely at technique. However, the thing about holdsworth is that he really was on another level musically. It's often overlooked as he had such an astonishing technique, but his musicality and vision was truely game changing. I haven't heard any of the new guys come (anywhere near) close to achieving what Allan did. I come back to the Bruford albums.....at the time it felt like he'd arrived from another planet. What he was playing was so detached from anything that had come before....really on a whole new level. I'm just so happy I was able to hear his music...see him live (probably 20+ times) and witnessed what he was able to do. A true genius.... unfortunately a term that seems to be over-used these days.
He's a hell of a guitar player a very underrated guitar player
Terrible Ted Nugent, The Motor City Mad Man... \m/ Rock On Man!
Eddie Van Halen said that the best guitarist he ever seen was Roy Clark.Maybe that was his inspiration
Edge isn’t a ‘Shredder’ but he can prove he can do it if he wants to. Personally I can’t stand shredders they’re dull show offs!
I’m the first comment 😊
He wasn't happy with his performance
You killed it!
LIVE .... Not this ....
you my dear have no Idea about that history , too bad
I hear Rory and within the first 10 seconds I have a smile on my face....I can't pay him a bigger tribute. Legend.
DT does not use a click for live. A click uses DT as reference.
The golden rule: if it's great and you don't know who made it, then it was 90% Leadbelly....
The effect is Phil Lynott
That "monster on the keys" is none other than the great keyboard wizard himself: Rick Wakeman. One of the rock world's top three of all time!
Try listening to Oficina G3.
Powered by the odd glass of Guiness and pure talent. No cocaine or other drugs. Best guitarist and best band I have seen live.
you are a fun guy...
Stevie never played the same way ever. It just flowed from him. This song Vodoo Child has many added things from SRV
He has Jimi’s wah wah, that his brother Jimmie Vaughn asked if he could have it for his little brother. Jimi passed in 1970, Stevie was about 14. Stevie asked Jimi’s Dad if he would mind if he played some of Jimi’s songs. Stevie approached Jimi’s Dad and offered to remaster all of Jimi’s work, at no charge, and then he gave the family all of the proceeds and rights to the Albums ❤️
It’s cool, but just dissonance without any rhyme, reason or structure, at least at the beginning.
Ramones forever...

Prince Is more talented than Michael Jackson. That's all.
