Chasing Anthems
США
Добавлен 29 мар 2018
Chasing Anthems - based out of Northern California, is an original Country-Rock music duo formed in 2018. The group was founded by Richard Hibbard and Travis Howell, who became friends while sharing their passion for music, community and church, while volunteering at their local church’s youth group.
Coming from different musical backgrounds, styles, and even interests, both Richard and Travis have combined their passion for Country-Rock music and forming it into their own unique style of original music. When selecting a band name, the pair settled on the name “Chasing Anthems” based on the groups anthemic style choruses heard in many of their original songs. Their music can be streamed on all major streaming platforms, as well as heard on regional and streaming radio stations. Chasing Anthems has performed up and down the west coast, as well as Nashville, Tennessee, headlining at various casino, events and festivals.

Fire! 🔥🔥🔥
Eric Clapton played that solo. That Mark guy did an awesome cover of Eric's solo. High pressure that. The second singer is Dave Lindley of ELO and the Travelling Wilbury's fame. The opening shot of the video featured Billy Preston on the piano who probably played on the original as he was the Beatles's favourite go to pianist. You can see him and Stevie Windwood patting each other on the back after the conclusion. Now they know rock and roll history when they hear it.
I love music (and other art) that flirts with chaos; seems like at any moment it's going to fly apart and turn into cacophony and it's so exciting and deeply satisfying when they somehow manage to pull it back from the edge and knit it together in a unified whole. I got Fragile when it first came out and the whole thing was excellent, but I listened to this song incessantly. Thanks for bringing it back into my consciousness.
Remember hearing this for the first time in 71. Lots of good music that year ! Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull , The Doors .
A little more complicated music from the twangy country stuff!
Gotta give the drummer and band a lot of credit for this country sound. I had to mature to fully appreciate Atkins, Gill, Campbell, Clark and many others in the country genre. RIP original Lynard Skynard band.
New Haven Connecticut 1986
Eddie built that guitar from scrap it's his Frankenstein guitar
Do check out his work with Bruford and his short stint with UK. Also some great stuff with Soft Machine, especially Bundles.
Ringo contributed to the Song...not just any songs...but a catalog of some of the Greatest compositions EVER in the History of All Music !...so for any doubters....200yrs from now alot of the technically Great drummers(whom I love) --Well who? will be remembered, who's contribution to MUSIC ...well 4 names will still be in circulation JPG&R.......That is Greatness on another level...
Not a very good sample of Bo, he used maracas on his records and didn't have screaming Stratocasters in his band, react to his early stuff.
You mentioned they sounded "disco" at the beginning, this "ain't no disco, this ain't no fooling around!", you really should WATCH a few of their live performances.
Check out Tony Williams' Lifetime album "Believe It" with Holdsworth.
And btw. at that concert, David Gilmour was 78. Old and still hot on that guitar. And i think the solo he did at the PULSE concert is better.
Babymetal touring U.S. 2024. Currently in Oklahoma.
God bless Ted Nugent, Rock and Roll Baby!
Stevie"'s Bass player is Tommy Shannon the Drummer is Chris Laton. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
there are MUCH better quality videos out there, that show him playing at the Taylor Hawkins concerts... hate to say it, but the quality of that one sucked. (not your fault)
No sings like him anymore. The acoustic set he did for Yahoo! a long time ago is just him and his acoustic guitar. Beautiful voice that is still haunting.
Dude you look like the guy who fought the hulk
Can you react to Rob Sousa - Perdidamente? 😊
Oh man that was really good! You know it’s a tuff business when you have that kind of talent and lacking a significant base. We all have things to work at on this amazing journey. Stay grateful my friend, many times what we see as hardships become our greatest gifts! Warm and loving blessings friend!❤
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying. “Rush may not be your favourite band, but they’re your favourite bands favourite band” lol! I will check out your stuff for sure! Well done here friend, you have great musical insight!
Well done friend! I have watched tons of these Rush reaction video’s and hearing so many perspectives is really nothing short of pure bliss! And yours is no exception! I just saw this was done 2 years ago so you definitely have been gifted many times over by now. In my humble opinion, although their live stuff is amazing, their studio work is second to none and if i want to have a divine experience right here on earth i just listen to the full version of 2112! And there are sooo many more! ❤Thanks for making this very cool vid, look forward to checking out your channel and all the gems that await this Rush fans inner child! ♥️
Dude, you don't know what are you talking about. This video is after their prime. See a video from the 80's then you'll see and understand. Check SDI live 1987
rad
Babymetal itself are the three girls but for their live performances they had their own Band, the Kami Band, that sometimes switched mrmbers. In 2019 they hired an additional Babd for US and European Gigs, they were US musicians and since April 2023 they are only supported by the Kami Band West, but their number of performances also went through the Roof 99 Concerts in the whole year. Two Europe Tours abd one World Tour. They just returned from South America. They now Start the US and in May 2025 they will start zheir first Arena Tour outside of Japan. Europe and the UK. 4 Concerts in Germany...

Triumph is one of thee best rock and roll bands of all times!! They have tons of great songs. Keep listening!!
Another great three man band is "Fastway" Check out their song "Say What You Will"
Ted was my first concert ever in 1980 at the Summit in Houston he was great.
The fact that he is blind is not even the amazing part. The amazing part is how he plays his guitar on his lap with his fingers like he’s playing a piano. And then on top of that he plays like SRV. Killer! He left us way too soon.
Great stuff. I saw DiMeola at the peak of his powers IMO, back years ago, in Seattle. Excellent show. A bit BRIEF to be honest, but yeah. Not to garner hate or be controversial, but as people benchmark these guys...oh by the way, I thought McLaughlin, my least favorite (still a favorite) of the three was having a brilliant night but his volume was lower than Al and Paco and the camera person didn't seem to like him as much....anyway as people benchmark this, I would say that none of these three are capable of playing as well as John Williams. I love John and much of his playing though occassionaly it is clinical. I would say 'that' level, is (near) the highest in history. And according to many, Williams included, Barrios is he best by far, ever. Best composer for guitar and best player. Primitive recordings capture him btw.
with age and care his death growls have grown deeper and more sinister. A shame the drummer fumbled the blastbeat at 6:27 -6:32.
'He's Calling' from the album Real Live. Showcases his middle eastern roots and influence. A Masterpiece
Video is from 1999
You don't judge Iommi by his technical standard or flash licks, that would be like judging Hendriks by today's standards. Iommi is the father of metal feel, melody and grit.
I think this was in Japan, you know they all walked out of that show thinking, what the hell did I just witness.
What performance was this from?
Where all my skaters at? 🛹
Go to proud to be an American interview. He explains how he discovered the tapping. like half way through
Just so everyone knows, the band name is NOT “The Eagles”. Just “Eagles”.
At the Drive In (another post-hardcore band and father of the genre) are great live as well. Better than Fugazi live.
Zakk is in the top 1! But I give Tom Scholz a CLOSE second.
there was no red guitar in the us festival your channel is a fucking peice of shit !!
"Disco Vibe"?.....stand corrected
All these people saying joe pass this, ella that, and oscar this and that... just know these are the artists you typically get down the rabbit hole when searching "jazz guitar" for the first time. Jazz is much more broad than the sounds of these great players, pls keep in mind in case u do decide to listen to more.
Simply amazing..I've seen rush 80 times..never got boared...memorizing to watch live..this group iss in a class by themselves..first time I saw them live 79 cape cod coliseum new nothing about music at that time..I immediately picked up how special they were..by tor..fly by night necromancer..2112 ect..I was like that drummer was in human...
