    The madone color looks so cool, whatever the red or blue one. Other brands are always in black or white.

    Hey guys, great video. I have a Madone as well that’s a few years old and my only complaint about it is the climbing as well.

    Great video but weren't the Madone's climbing times better then the SL8???

      @bicyclestation  Год назад +1

      Yea but it doesn’t feel as good. I think if you were to do an all out effort the tarmac would beat it easily. At 300 watts it’s faster tho

    Does anyone have a preference between the Domane SL 7 Gen 4 and Madone SL 6 Gen 7? I want to get pretty serious into biking but I also want to be comfortable and suggestions or insight would be great! 👍

    fun video to watch guys. good quality and honest reviews. love the subtitles (i have adhd brain too). Since Trey likes the comfortability of the Madone I'd be curious to see what he thinks about riding a titanium frame -- what would be the harsher ride?

    4:40, to be fair, the current gen Madone looks miles better with a regular stem and spacers than the Gen 6.

    • @bicyclestation

      Realistically I’d just expect the bike to be heavier. Trek SL frames are usually really good. But when we get one in the mail I’ll do a overview video on it.

    I like it. My trek just got stolen, so I got a specialized ( and that got stolen too). What can you suggest as far as a gps tracker? And one that isn't obvious or is hidden? Apple Airtag or Tile? Something different? I THINK I might return to riding a TREK. I had that one for several years, the specialized didn't last 4 months. That's still 2 months longer than the Cannondale.

    How can it be bad in climbing when the geometry of madone and emonda is the same. Is it the frame wt difference?

    • @bicyclestation
      @bicyclestation  Год назад +1

      It’s the way it feels. It’s not mathematical bad. It just feels like a “piece of plywood” climbing. The emonda springs up climbs and the Madone just kinda muscles it if that makes sense.

    This blendr base mount comes with the box (mono base) and also duo base i had for light&garmin together getting loose after few KM ride or ride in some bad roads with vibration. This is very annoying issue and i never had this problem on my old 2020 Trek Madone frame with it's original stem&handlebar combination... I am using the original screw and it has blue loctite on it too !.

    Yup... excellent bike. The Madone is badass but really, all Trek bikes have been top notch in my experience... durable, long lasting, well engineered.

    Probably the best colourway of them all. I only wish the SL7 was as good looking instead of the bland pearl blue colour it is.

    😂 - 1st time I've heard IsoFlow called the "butthole". It made me laugh. Wen the bike was released I did not like the IsoFlow at all. Over time I've come to appreciate its design. Compared to IsoSpeed... IsoFlow has no mechanical parts to maintain or replace, and it saves weight. I dig it!

    I hate the butt hole on the bike and if spending $10K for a race bike, I will never own it.
    I do like the color. No doubt its fast.
