Need more VHC episodes. Glasshouse, Coffs Harbour, Tassie and the Cape have been done to death. You guys haven't even scratched the surface of the mighty Vic High Country.
It's awesome you guys preach trail, track and campsite conservation and preservation. Whenever I would go camping as a kid in scouts or just my family we would always clean up trash, even if it wasn't ours. Its awesome they preach it
@@COSHAM77 ... including in a tassie vid a dicksonia they cut off at the base and left lying on the side of the track. Gives us a bad name that! How do I know it was them? Well they said no one had been down the track in months, the amount of tree clearing on the track showed same, and the trunk and fresh green crown of the tree fern lying parallel with the track off to the side and the stump was fresh. Shits me this sort of thing.
At the first water crossing, why go so needlessly hard and push a huge tide up the exit making it progressively wetter and slipperier for those following. I was taught to stop when you can and let the vehicle drain to protect the exit. There was room on that crossing to do that.
Some of those hill climbs make me really homesick for the coast. South western BC has, in my opinion, the best wheeling in Canada. You boys are really helping keep my love of root & rock alive, thank you!
27:28 - "And that's where owning a 4WD is such a bloody privilege" - those used to be my exact sentiments many years ago when I was active as a member of a Landrover Owners Club. In those days I was single and it was well before RUclips and even modern digital cameras. I have vivid recollections of feeling privileged to see some remote parts of my own country but also tinged with sadness at the thought I wasn't able to share it with a wife or kids etc. Sure there were other club members but... I'm sure most know what I mean! Times sure are different in that people can see some of this stuff online now!
Heath Wells, mate I know exactly what you mean, I’m 69 now when I was 21 I owned a Land Rover swb, canvas top, and nothing stopped it, Sydney to mount isa.....tenant creek, Gregory downs, Bush desert you name it, my regret is we never took photos of our trips, or very few that have been lost over the years, a lot of country we covered was just with a mate and myself, no radio contact, no gps, but what fun, hell I wish I could do it all again.
lol 19:41 "im not using the break at all" with the brake lights clearly on. No need to over sell the auto, im sure even a manual would need some brake going down there especially if its a got patrol gearing
You guys spoil us. It's hard to get content this good for money. And here are these free, full length, high quality uploads. Freaking legends! Subscribed!
I camped at woods point and 4wd for a day and a half in the time I saw 2 cars roll, that’s how steep it is. Going up into the high county it had been snowing for quite a while and it was a truly spectacular view of the mountains.
Some great locations and action, LOVED to see graham giving so good photo tips, one of the best 4x4 action vids on the list. Entertaining and educational, well done.
2 years ago around this time I arrived in Woods Point thinking I can fill up at the petrol station. It was early Sunday morning and nobody was around, not even at the pub. Had to keep driving and arrived in Marysville on fumes, was very lucky.
At least you can roll down the hill for the last 15-20kays. Two years ago on a 40deg day I got the worst brake fade I ever had one afternoon going down that hill in a 40 series Troopy - and it has discs. Being a typical mechanic I think the last time I changed the brake fluid was about 20 years ago. It took from Marysville to Buxton to get the heat out of them LOL. I changed it now and all's good again (for another 20 years).
@@ThePaulv12 Yeah I got brake fade on this trip as well, in a 1997 TJ Wrangler. The auto gear box + 33" tires made it very hard on the brakes on that mountainous road between Eildon and Jamieson. I just pulled up at a river and splashed water on them (was a complete noob at the time) then they worked again..
hello from the U.S love the videos been waiting on a new one make more i love them. ya'lls videos are the only offf rd videos i watch. keep up the good work
the best part of the videos is Shaun cooking....that is hilarious man, keep up the good work guys, im watching!! ps: the 4wdinving is good too....hahhaha
Such sweet country! It's very similar to our Rocky Mtns here in Alberta & BC & just some of the most stunning views like ya'll have there. Excellent trip guys, thanks for sharing it.
Gotta admit the D-max and the overhead canopy linked to the truck is just grand. Super cheap and easy setup, dry access to truck cabin, plenty of space. I'm sold. Looks much cooler than a seperate setup and you don't have to get a 2k tent to mount it on the truck.
Hi guys, I'm from Sri Lanka.. I watched your all episodes in 4WD Action.. I love it awesome.. I like Nissan Gq Y60 :D its like a devil :D I'm video editor, but I like Offroad driving... You camera production is 100 % wow... I really enjoy it, Thank you.
Nice trip, but hardly would call Mt Margaret Track the steepest in Oz. It's become a pretty easy track these days, like many they chop out a lot of the fun bits although when it's real dry they break up or wet like you had they're a way more challenging beast. Love your camera work & good points about looking after the bush & all the special places our rigs give us access to. Keep up the good work fellas.
I really wish I could get an 90's diesel Hilux crew cab here in the states. If money was not an issue, The list of 4×'s that I want from Australia, or the world market is insane ! Would rather have one of many rigs you guys have then an exotic car.
I felt as if I was there with you. Great job on the film crew. I wish I could join you guys but living in the USA makes it a bit difficult. Thank god for video.
Graham I have to know if you as a little kid watched the leyland brothers documentaries that they did back in the 70s. They popped up on my you tube things that I might like and they are kinda grainy but the information is priceless they provide. I absolutely love the cape York trip they took and when they traversed they Jardin and the way they did it was mind blowing. They had there infant kids along with them too truly amazing film.
Even tho I live in Finland and don't own a 4x4 (atleast not at the moment, but I do have my eyes set on one), I do enjoy the vids. Great work and huge thanks for sharing them!
lmfao @ Graham trying to prepare a meal for Sasquatch. -"How does that look *shows skillet full of bacon, meat and eggs* " -"Looks alright, maybe a couple more eggs" lol
again, awesome. I'd love to subscribe to the magazine, but I don't think you deliver to the UK! so tempted to export my truck to oz - just to live that dream!
One of the few channels that deserves the upload notification enabled!
I definitely 2nd that.
True
One of my fav episodes. Come back to watch it even now.
Graham is like a little Aussie leprechaun. Always so cool to watch 4WD Action with Shauno & McGraham
Haha, I reckon Shauno's half-cut cooking segments could become my favourite part of these vids. The more pissed the better.
“Can’t make a sticky without a date!”

Second that

the 4wdaction boys are the worst for track appreciation. every bog hole they hit even if there is a perfect track around it.

These videos with Barney just cement my love an loyalty for luxxes and landcruisers....Great vids guys love it...
Graeme, Whats the secret of ageing so gracefully? You've hardly aged from The Goodies to 4WD Action.
Shauno and that DIRTY30 ate the LUX on that rock step. pure gold!!
Been watching this channel for ages now so happy you posted another full episode
YES YES YES!!!! Grabed me cordial and ready for another 4WD Action video!!! YEW

Love woods point, See a lot flood rigs in the Goulburn as well
It’s ridiculous that there isn’t 1 million subs on this channel.
A great video, thanks Lads. Folks owned the general store in Dargo in the 50's, love the High Country.
Honestly the best channel on RUclips! Love all the videos, it’s got me right into the 4x4 theme
Some great locations and action, LOVED to see graham giving so good photo tips, one of the best 4x4 action vids on the list. Entertaining and educational, well done.

Another awesome adventure boys How many times did they say "Victoria high country" should start a 4x4 action drinking game hahaha
Its funny. I can tell where the episodes go chronologically not by the date posted- but by the amount of dents in the dmax's box. XD
Awesome content 👏
Loving every minute of this adventure 😍
Greetings from south africa 🇿🇦 😀
again, awesome. I'd love to subscribe to the magazine, but I don't think you deliver to the UK! so tempted to export my truck to oz - just to live that dream!
6:27 why didn't you just use the 2wd track next to the bog hole ? :)
Legends! Cheers for posting another full length episode!
Shaunos commentary puts a different spin on the video.. 👌👌
Been waiting for this!!
Any chance you can film some of the downhill sections from a perpendicular angle as the trucks go by to give an indication of the steep angles.
Can't get enough.
You fellas need to get to bruntons bridge in the high country sometime such an awesome camp site
