    Stock honda distributors have 3 sensors (CKP, TDC, and CYP). Does ECU use all these sensors to run the engine?

    • @choyr
      @choyr  3 года назад +1

      Hi. Only CKP and CYP is being used by PnPduino

    What baseman is being used ? Is it just plug in and it will run the car??

  • @kluttzren
    @kluttzren 5 месяцев назад

    Can you tell me if this is a complete plug and play for obd1 hondas? Do I need to download a baseman to get my car running or how about injectors offsets and what not when boosting ? Will this ecu plug in and require no modification to crank sensors or dizzy?

    • @choyr
      @choyr  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi. yes no need to modify the crank sensors or distributor. you can also adjust the injector dead times from Tunerstudio

    Will this support Alpha N? Very kool, I like the idea of modern electronics. I lost a p28 because the capacitors started leaking. Hondata is going to have to lower their prices if you get a distributor in North America

    • @choyr
      @choyr  2 года назад +1

      Hi. Yes, alpha n is supported. Will be available next year due to revisions. Thanks!

    On the wide band you no longer have to splice into d14 to connect wide band or how did you connect wide band im confused on that part boss

    • @choyr
      @choyr  7 месяцев назад

      There is a dedicated onboard connector for the wideband. If you use that connector (its provided), no need to splice. Just calibrate within the software. You need to disconnect the oem o2 sensor if there is

    • @choyr
      @choyr  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, but make sure the obd2 to obd1 jumper harness is a good quality, not from the cheap chinese copies. we have experience that the pins do not contact properly, specially the ground pins
