PnPduino Honda OBD1 B/D Standalone ECU
Просмотров 5 тыс.3 года назад
This is the first of many Plug and Play Standalone ECUs for our beloved JDM engines. This is based on Speeduino firmware and UA4C board, which connects directly to any Honda B/D engines without ANY modification. Please visit www.pnpduino.com for more info
Speeduino can now run Sequential COP with just one CAM sensor. Cut off one tooth of the 24 tooth wheel, set it up as 24-1 at cam speed, then you have four shielded wires previously used for the 4 tooth and single tooth wheels on the distributor free to use as your ignition coil triggers.
@@Mike-ry4ti our ecus do not need to modify the 24 tooth
hi i was thinking of buying your prodouct for my 1993 B16 del sol in a not so distant future, is it hard to install?
hello. no, its plug and play and theres a free version of the software
i use his ecu made for the 4age its great and pnp. we just had to wire an extra wire for the map its pretty straight forward. with a wide band sensor you can get 90% of the tune in 1 hour with auto tuning
@@marlo0oty213 Thank you!
@@marlo0oty213 I'm new to the car community whatever the wide band sensor?
@@ipayd4winrar859 its used to see whats the rate of fuel and air in the engine. If you wont tune your car you don’t need it. But it makes lots pf things better and your car fueling will be a lot better. All ecus needs this. While tuning they will hook up an external if you dont have one
I want to build a 400-500hp k24 will this work ??
hi we still havent tried up to 500hp but you can try it
Awesome detailed video, please make another on how you use the android stereo as a display
@@chrisdon4248 will do. Thanks
Is the above circuit diagram for vtec or non vtec? Thanks sir
@@binhluongthe1253 hi. Vtec or nonvtec its the same
@@choyr I am a big fan of yours.I have f series engine.I can't find the ignition pins.Can you help me.Have a nice day
@@choyr Can i implement on f series engine with original ecu.Thank you sir
@@binhluongthe1253 hi. Some f series are compatible with hondata s300. If its compatible, then our ecu will work. There are many variants of fseries and not all can be compatible
What about h or f series?
its compatible, as long as its compatible with S300.
The obd2b plugs directly into this ecu?
No. Should be obd1
Hello nice work what is your trigger setup
Hi. Its a custom firmware so it will not work for official firmware
What baseman is being used ? Is it just plug in and it will run the car??
Can you tell me if this is a complete plug and play for obd1 hondas? Do I need to download a baseman to get my car running or how about injectors offsets and what not when boosting ? Will this ecu plug in and require no modification to crank sensors or dizzy?
Hi. yes no need to modify the crank sensors or distributor. you can also adjust the injector dead times from Tunerstudio
magkano
Is pnpduino the same as BoostedNW pnp?
When are production models going to be available?
hi. it will be before Apr 20 2024
Awesome. What’s the price point on these?
@@MonkeyWrenching its $600 free shipping
@@choyrwhew, that’s a bit more than the others you sell. Why is it $180 more?
@@MonkeyWrenching parts of the firmware has been done by a paid developer
Excited for this product, when will it be available?
Still waiting on the d17 version to hit the site, soon I hope 🤞
What ecu used?????
Its PnPduino Honda B/D OBD1
When will this be available?
hopefully this april. currently everything is working as it should
Can you use the usb cable to connect to a digital dash display?
no. you need the serial 0 or serial 3 but we recommend serial 3
On the wide band you no longer have to splice into d14 to connect wide band or how did you connect wide band im confused on that part boss
There is a dedicated onboard connector for the wideband. If you use that connector (its provided), no need to splice. Just calibrate within the software. You need to disconnect the oem o2 sensor if there is
filipino?
yes
Will it work with obd2 with obd1 jumper harness ?
Yes, but make sure the obd2 to obd1 jumper harness is a good quality, not from the cheap chinese copies. we have experience that the pins do not contact properly, specially the ground pins
Will this work on stock ecu.?? Or pnpduino only…? Anyway great work…you just killed those fancy aftermarket dizzy makers
Hi sorry for the late reply. This will only work with PnPduino
Man I’m really interested in giving this a try, we are doing a k swap into an em2 on my friends channel, Texas Honda channel, the ecu is one of the last things holding us back since they are so expensive. When do yall plan to have them available?
Hi. we are still testing the VTC but hopefully this February. For the D17 or non VTC K series, we are sure this early February
exelente
You were supposed to sync timing light on cylinder 1 not cylinder 4 bro..lol
Yes you are right! Did not notice it just now. Will edit the video. Thanks for noticing! Should be on cylinder/COP1
Amazing work brudda!!! -THANPHO TUNING
Thanks for the support also!
What stereo brand and model# is that??
Nice I can't for my PNPDUINO.
Great explanation!!! That is exactly what I needed to do my COP with the your pnpduino. Thank you. Is the documentation gonna be on your website?
Hi yes, im currently making it. Thanks!
Could the honda tuning suite software be used with this also?
Hi. no, only tunerstudio
This is very impressive mate, good work
dam great job on this. Looks super clean setup. This is perfect for swapped cars where the can bus etc is not needed. Not recommended for factory cars cause the speedo and other stuff wont work etc.
Yes, usually for K swapped cars this is a good option
High very interested i emialled via thanpho tuning
Where can i buy this?
through our website pnpduino.com/store but its currently out of stock. we will be having stocks at the end of 2023
Can I buy the parts case/obd1 adapter/ special vr conditioner and build myself?
hi. sadly no sorry
Do you have a PnP ecu for 4age 20v blacktop?
Yes we have! check on the website
Great work! Now I want one for K series engines

Hii, great job sir.. I very interest to your project. Regarding the knock sensor is working properly on this PnPduino?

Will this support Alpha N? Very kool, I like the idea of modern electronics. I lost a p28 because the capacitors started leaking. Hondata is going to have to lower their prices if you get a distributor in North America
Hi. Yes, alpha n is supported. Will be available next year due to revisions. Thanks!
when u get stock
Hi. Hopefully before the end of december. Thanks
Well done sir!
How much to buy one ?
Hi. Its $400 for the complete ecu
Can it be used for H series?
Yes, but I don't have an H series engine to confirm it. if the pinouts are the same, then it should work.
Stock honda distributors have 3 sensors (CKP, TDC, and CYP). Does ECU use all these sensors to run the engine?
Hi. Only CKP and CYP is being used by PnPduino
Great job....
Speedy is a great product, but for these obd1 Hondas a chipped ecu is king...
Agree, as long as they are working. I have 2 obd1 ecus not working anymore
@@choyr You can try replacing the caps, they go bad with age. you can also use automatic ecus and convert them to vtec manual etc
@@turboimport95 already tried it, but its not from the caps and not worth it to find where is the fault
