    Your friend was right that is not real crab but processes fish. This market is peak at night until midnight. Its gonna get busier during Ramadhan. Rendang n lemang(sticky rice) is very popular especially during Hari Raya (Eid al-Fitr), must try 👌

    The Jalan TAR market opens till late. On a normal weekend it opens til 1am. However during Ramadhan, it opens till around 5am

    You two went to a place that is well-known for its Saturday night market in KL. Based on their appearance and dialect, the first store vendors selling meat crab cannot be identified as Malaysians. The announcement you heard requested for the removal of the vehicles obstructing traffic.

      Yes agree, they do not look like Malaysian. Some street vendors are not Malaysian but are from neighboring country like Thailand, Indonesia or Bangladeshis and mostly do not converse well in English too.

    Beside Bukit Bintang, KL also have a busy pedestrian called Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman… mostly this place a lot people coming to look for food, fabric and mostly Malay cloth…

    I think at least 2 of the guys at the lok-ching place aren't even Malaysians.
    The restaurant with the satay cooking in front is actually a very famous KL old school kopitiam. Not many foreign tourists go there. You can get tables easily mon-fri & just hangout with friends 🎉

      @@TravelingSoloLogs Its mandatory for all Malaysians to learn English in school from 7 years old to 18 years old. Similar to other subjects like Maths or Chemistry some students may be good some maybe bad but even the bad students should know basic English and similar to certain countries, we have foreign workers and refugees here and many of them are not proficient in English which is not their fault.

    1.Kuih Seri Muka(layered green(glutinous flour)+glutinous rice)
    2.Karipap(curry puff)
    3.Pulut Panggang(sticky rice + little shredded coconut sambal,wrapped with banana leaf)
    4.Apam balik(malaysian pancake)
    5.Doraemon(donut ball but stuff with sambal tumis&cucumber)

    Sticky rice inside the bamboo we called LEMANG and the other one is KETUPAT. We eat with rendang ayam@chicken rendang/rendang daging@beef rendang. Very popular here in Malaysia...

    The first place that you eat crab stick & all kind of that sausage actually from Southern Thailand...its pretty famous in my place Kelantan...they brought from there to sell in Malaysia...but not sure the seller from also from Thai or Indonesian...our face looks similar tho..sorry they cant speak English...Malaysian can speak at least basic English...maybe they are from Indonesia that thats they cant speak English lol...

    Chris hahahahaa you are right on. Solo has been in Msia so long and never tried durian. Next Solo you have not tasted the rendang?? Come on its available at the Nasi Lemak stalls all over town and also at Wanjo.😅 Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman is the first strret that sells clothes, fabrics, carpets, etc in Kuala Lumpur long before KL ever had a decent Shopping Mall. Historical road. That satay that you pass is the location of another historical Kopitiam Capitol. Tourist only know of Chinatown Petaling Stret. This road is where the bargains are.
