Love the dialogue between Jack and Claire in the caves where he's telling her he talked in his sleep and asking about Claires OBGYN. This is such a natural and gentle dialogue, really nicely written and acted. The first few seasons were so good. They put absolutely everything into the production which was just a magnificent high standard. I loved all the seasons, but 1,2 and 3 were the best quality.
The thing was he told Kate when he decided to stay on the island. “Get Claire off the island”. He said that not just because he knew Kate wanted this, but he said it for himself. He knew Claire would be safe if she got off the island. But also, he did not know how to cope with this realization that Claire was his sister, that’s why he was distanced himself from Kate and Aaron. The flashsideways showed what they needed to help them let go. Jack was able to have a better relationship with his son and let go of anger towards Christian. And He was able to be more of a brother towards Claire, helping that heal. Claire never had much family, but deciding to keep Aaron in flashsideways and have a relationship with her brother and nephew helped her let go of her resentment of not having a family. They needed each other. They just didn’t know why or how much
The title and description is stupid. Jack was protective of everyone. If he was a little bit more towards Claire, it was just because of her baby, not because they're siblings.
osamabad Exactly. Jack was a terrible brother, even when he found out he never wanted to go back for Claire and was more than happy to leave her again when they did return to the island. If anything he became less protective once he found out they were siblings.
Im confused abput ethan, wasnt there a scene that showed juliet helping him as a baby in the dharma camp? Did i just forget something or does it ever explain how he went with ben and richard and the others after dharma was wiped out?
Jack was a terrible brother. He never told Claire this or seemed to acknowledge their relationship in any way and he even tried to abandon her on the island. He didn’t even go back to find her.
THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN U UPLOAD MORE JACK/CLAIRE MOMENTS? PLZ! OMFG THEY WERE THE BEST CHARACTERS ON THE SHOW! IF THEY WERENT RELATED, THEY WOULD HAVE MADE A SWEET COUPLE!
It was and still is a good series. You'll hear some criticism bout how it ended. but then again, there's always criticism. I would recommend it.. it was.. and still is pretty much unlike no other show. It was one of the only shows that made you try to guess what the hell is going on.
Yeah he was SO protective when he left Claire behind going to the boat when sawyer told him to, and just did it so carelessly knowing she was his sister.. claire acting abit wierd was not even excuse for that.. she lived on that island for 3 years by herself. He knew she had a child outside still did it. I always hated him for doing that
I really don't think Jack was a good brother at all. He didn't go back to the island is rescue Claire. He allowed Kate to bring to Aaron, and he was going to abandon her again when they left the island for a second time.
@@alexwallar8608 Actually it was season 5 before they returned to the island when Claire's mom tells him at Jack's Dads funeral, I believe you're thinking about the flash sideways scenes way of telling Jack about Claire

Dude, her scream and crying about the baby scared the fudge out of me. Like I felt that in my bone and almost cried myself.

Shame once it was revealed, they did not have more sibling bonding.
They did season 6.
@@oshanepatterson5452 Thank you.
And in the flash sideways timeline

Jack was protective towards everyone, & sacrified himself for everyone else.
Its amazing how much fuel was left after the plane already blew up and crashed into a million pieces
its cute they're siblinhpgs but Jack was like that/nice towards everybody :)
Jack didn't know it was his sister until much later
i just realized Jack asked Ethan to get water, and Ethan was the one who injected her with the needles :0
KingofThebes it’s in missing pieces

He didn't even know until her mother told him, so how was he terrible about that particular part?
Get a life and maybe respond to more current comments? I clearly confirmed why I thought he wasn’t a good brother. So just go away you absolute loser.

Yeah it was so out of character, I never understood it at all
But in the end he told Kate when he needed to stay to get Claire off the island. That was not just for Kate, the way he said it was for him too.
