Sees a very measured and sensible explanation for why I should NOT try to serve like Kyrgios. Next day: Tries to serve likes Kyrgios even more. What's wrong with me?
Nothing. But i dont advice you to copy anything. you should copy most important parts of his serve, that i suited for you. For example i cant copy his wrist motion, that he uses to delay his right arm
This is actually 90% my serve. Only thing I don’t do is raise my toe on my front foot. Works well for me. Excellent angles, consistency, spins and power
I recently went from Dolgopolv style to Kyrgios'. Pinpoint serve is less heavy on my low back and shoulder, more efficient in transfer the weight to the ball, and im heavy btw (90kg/198lbs)
The best part of his serve is his ultra consistent toss and his explosiveness. His footwork would be hard to copy. Even compared to other players he has a great serve. He can easily win a slam but his can't control his emotions.

Great call on the similarly with Goran. Perricard, who now seems to have the best serve in tennis, has this same technique also it seems.
and Sinner
3:50 this is what you shouldn’t copy, loading back leg is good it’s been shown by mark kovacs
Now because of this video I will copy the Kyrgios serve😅
Good luck!
What about Perricard?

I just learned that I was copying his serve wrong for years, time to fix it

Sama for me. I had knee problems using Dolgopolov style. Thats why i change to Kyrgios.
You should do a podcast with Nick.
Do you do online lessons, I need help with my serve.
Go to his website
You know it’s funny I’ve never really liked the way his serve looks. Still insanely good obviously.
The Beast serve
But not for everyone
If it works for him or to anyone else I don't see anything wrong with that serve.
okay so who should we copy? maybe Novak?
I took some parts from Novak, some from Kyrgios and Dolgopolov.
just copy ruuds, it’s not as good but it’s enough and it’s easier
