      Have a great day ✅. I think
I sold all my Mac Jones cards when he was hot for a couple Peyton manning rookies. I think that one worked out 👀

Absolutely NOT. Not even close to being in a junk wax era. I lived through it in the 80’s and it’s not close.

I lived through at as well as an 80s kid. They overproduced upper deck, fleer, pro set etc. sets like crazy back than. Now we are doing the same thing with even MORE products. If Jayden Daniels ends up being the next Tom Brady do you think his cards will have that much value with thousands and thousands of his rookie cards in the PSA population ?

I am new the hobby and reserve the right to be wrong on this. When I first started watching pack openings, it was 2019 and 2020. Never bought product until two months ago, as kids are expensive. I saw rookies from 2019 and 2020 going for insane values and was really thinking many of the things you are thinking. Why is a Justin Herbert going for $100k? He could get in a car accident tomorrow and never play again. Wemby is similar to me. He could blow out a knee and never been the same again. I wouldn't call this a new junk wax era. It's an era of speculation and FOMO, and it's not whether it's right or wrong, it just is. If you are in this hobby for the finance part of it, you have to live with that knowledge and play the game. Sell the Mac Jones for $1100, that's the smart play. Of course, if you're just trying to have some fun and collect your favorite players and teams, then just do what makes you happy.

You could not have said that more perfectly! I can’t afford to just go buy the cards I want to so I buy singles, grade, flip and use those funds to buy the PC Cards I want for my collection. It takes a lot of work, but I love it. Great points above. Appreciate your comment 👍

I think the whole process is a ripoff!
