I believe in Jacoby. They will likely need to lean on the running game more, but as long as the line can keep Jacoby on his feet the Colts will be okay.

Really hoping he balls out and gets a good groove going on early this season. He's been getting the starting reps since like April so he's ahead of where you'd expect him to be. He's also got a line so he'll have time to make decisions.

Andrew Luck loves throwing to his TE going back to Stanford, so Colts got 2 good TE for him Ebron and Doyle. Luck likes play action and throw deep so they got Marlon Mack and a deep threat TY Hilton.

Andrew Luck had one flaw... He wasn't nimble.Though he could run well, he wasn't very light on his feet which made him an easy target for hits when he ran. Cam is nimble, he can shake you out of your socks if need be, Luck did not have those type of moves, he was a pocket passer and a very good flat footed runner, but his greatest attribute was his CLUTCH ability, he was the best in pressure situations. Brissett's stance in the pocket is similar to Brady's, he has great running ability AND is very nimble, he improves his reads, accuracy and adjusting protections, he will be a top 10 QB in this league and very well could take the Colts far.

No disrespect to Luck, but Athletically, Luck is no Cam Newton at all. He may have had “slightly “ similar combine numbers but applying those skills in real time game situations are the difference. Sorry Chris, please look at game film and compare. It’s no contest.

Steve Dugger I agree, they drafted him as aQB who happens to be the best running QB of all time. A running QB that won the division 5 times and went to the Super Bowl. True, QBs that run a lot don’t generally have long careers but I wouldn’t say it’s over, they just should’ve rested him for a season and go with Grier or Allen. Of course they’ll still lose but at least Cam will be rested

all the other stuff in the offense came from the defense having to respect the deep ball. The only way jacoby works out in indy is if he shows defenses that he can throw the deep ball to hilton. without that, it all falls apart.
