I love this. I love how, despite the hair and the clothes, she is so clearly our beautiful, tortured Olivia. (Anna Torv is brilliant in this scene.) I love how her hand flutters when they kiss. I love how Peter pulls her closer. I love everything about this moment.
At the beginning I wasn't sure if this was Altlivia or Olivia in disguise (it's been a while since I saw this episode) but when she said, "Peter..." I INSTANTLY KNEW IT WAS OUR OLIVIA. o.o How eerie that even intonation can set them apart....and yet Peter didn't figure it out later on. :L
They never really had very passionate kisses did they? A peck here, a small smooch there...yet they gave off sparks just being in the same room...the way they looked at one another and the way they touched was enough! There's that one episode where Olivia looks at Peters scar on his wrist...the way they held hands and looked at one another in that scene was more breathless than any kiss!

Well it's about time! Finally...I've been waiting for this since the Pilot b/c you could just see it in how they looked at each other and they always called the other one for help. I wish they woulda showed Peter's face, you could see the emotion in Olivia, see looked like she was gonna cry when she kissed him.

But when Olivia and William Bell were fighting the Fringe agents and Peter and Walter were setting up the device, Altlivia slipped in with Bell and Olivia was left to Walternate's imprisonment. In short, you are correct. :)

I find his body language so interesting, this scene was the thing that made me think that maybe Olivia and and Peter weren't going to be together, he's drawing away at the same time as he is holding on. You get a tangible feeling that something important is missing. Shes hanging onto him desperately, but he's more conflicted.
This scene really came out of the blue, knocked me down and left me mumbling "Did someone get the license plate of that truck?" By that I mean it was so...so unexpected. But it was so awesome either...and the way Olivia seemed to pull back a bit but then Peter pulled her close...aww... I hope Peter sees through the alt Olivia in the 3rd season and realizes that she's not his Olivia.
Now how they managed to do this and then still make me be genuinely laughing with Fauxlivia not 3 episodes later is one of the greatest feats of writing and acting I’ve ever seen. 😊
I know this isn't the point of this segment, but it's so interesting to me how later on in this show, Peter uses his past knowledge of a now-Retconned alternet version of Walter, Walternate, to judge his character on actions he never, in that new timeline, committed. Fascinating stuff.
0:20 I really wonder, with how Brilliant Walter(nate) is - and this one much more ruthless and coherent, too, without a chunk or several of his brains out - if he knew he the whole time he wouldn't be able to save either world regardless, so he wanted to bring Earth 1 down in the process. check this out! what if altivia and peter head off and do a bunch of episodes together. hes knows somethings up but cant quite put a finger on it yet (because altivia is caniving like that) and in one of the episodes she DIES! so petter is all heart broken and torn and brooding but unaware still of our olivia in the the AU. so he goes on brooding and coping when he finds out where she is!!! so then he becomes crazed and spends the rest of the season trying to find her and bring her back!

The end scene of this episode just about broke my heart though....i was on cloud 9 up until that last scene! Go get her peter! This scene is love. It's so adorable. I had to pause it to savor the moment!

More than how the whole Peter-Altlivia situation is gonna be developped, I'm EXTRA curious on how that will affect Peter and Olivia's relationship... Also, TPTB said that although in a extremely bad situation, we'll get to see what would her life be had she made different choices - maybe meeting her alt mother, Frank and beeing without Peter, will make Olivia understand that, basically it's all a matter of choices...
I mean in each universe there's a different version of "Olivia", and everyone else, but that doesn't mean one is less human (by that I mean: have it's own past, history, personality...) than the other. It's easier to understand when you watch all the episodes

I really didn't expect this at all! Never in my mind did it occur that they're going to be kissing this season finale.. I screamed as soon as she said "You belong with me" and my brother, who was watching with me, jumped out of his skin in fright. XD I loved that they kiss but at the same time I kinda liked them flirting back and forth without having a real relationship.. so I'm torn whether I want them to be bf/gf. Well, not soon since AltOlivia is the one on this universe anyway.

XD I loved that they kiss but at the same time I kinda liked them flirting back and forth without having a real relationship.. so I'm torn whether I want them to be bf/gf. Well, not soon since AltOlivia is the one on this universe anyway.

S3 is not finished we get episodes 8 and 9 before the Winter Hiatus and it returns on 28 Jan 2011. Providing viewers in the US stick with Fringe on a Friday night and it can pick up a few more viewers fingers cross we will get a S4.

when he finds her shes a little messed up cuz shes been tortured and mistreaded and maybe dosebt even recognize him anymore. :( but hes happy and says "i can't lose you again" kinda what walter said about peter before! ok ok my imagination ran away here! but still season 3 aught to be good!
