In addition to some of the best demo gameplay I've seen, you are the only person that bothered to use the touchpad to show the Synergy Skill Info at 15:15. Thank you!
Awesome coverage as usual. Personally I can't express enough how much I really love what they are doing with the combat system in FF7 remake games in general, but equally hate what they have done to the story 😢
Same here! I am trying to hold off on getting Granblue Fantasy Relink because I have Persona 3 Reload coming and I imagine I'll be doing that til Rebirth comes out. Ugh, come on Friday! LOL
Great breakdown! As usual, you explain everything clearly :). It seems that they have improved and tweaked a lot of things from FFVII Remake formula! This is very promising, and I hope that they will release those demos soon enough for us 🙂.
The game looks really awesome, such as the combat does. ¿Do you know if maybe there is a way to attack into the air with Cloud whenever we want? In the official SE web site, says (about Cloud): Some of his abilities also allow him to take the fight to the air. And I think he should be able to do Basic Aerial combos at any moment. Not only through synergy abillties or other kind of abillties that generally require to spending ATB bars. For example, just like Yuffie, that launches toward her weapon after trowing it and then she quickly starts to fight into the air at any time. I would like that in his case works similar to her, and he can put quickly into the air and not only with aerial enemies. Even more so if it is someone like Cloud who has great agility and ability to fight there.
He has attacks that can be used while in the air, so I'm sure has a launch ability like Tifa. I just didn't notice it being available in these demos. It could be a synergy skill, or maybe he needs to unlock it first. I'll check the next time I have a chance to play.
No. If you complete Remake, you get the Leviathan summon materia. If you complete Intermission as well, you get the Ramuh summon materia. Rebirth should otherwise have the same or a little fewer summons of the ones in Remake, and then there will be many more new ones (at least 4 are known of so far). Its unclear whether Leviathan and Ramuh are also obtainable through Rebirth's gameplay and the save transfer is just an initial bonus, or if its exclusive to the transfer. Besides all this, you start off anew. Level, materia, gear, all reset, and we'll have to see if they provide the story handwave for it. On the other end, the new gameplay adjustments and systems will at least present the characters as more active and powerful than early Remake. There will be fewer wait times, synergy combo moves, dodge is a constant action you can take instead of a materia, etc. They'll also likely push us through early gear and materia progression faster than before, due to adding more items and systems on top for later and endgame in Rebirth. I'll expect that the eastern content progression (Kalm, Junon, Condor, etc) could represent much of Remake's normal progression besides the higher or highest end abilities/gear/summons, the western continent will be a mix of most of what's left and more leaning on new stuff, and the northern continent/ending portion and endgame will focus more on new stuff but with expected top end rewards that might have slipped into Remake's endgame/NG+/hardmode. Remake was focused on Midgar-teir rewards but expanded (including the weapon upgrade trees) and with a scattering of additional out-of-place stuff (simulation summons, etc), but Rebirth should give a good general sense of progression through a diverse world. The third game may be a mix of both (return to Midgar is certain) but more likely than not, a twisted change to the world beyond original FFVII that brings in some really strangely themed rewards and abilities. But each game will more or less reset your progression, and act as separate experiences, albeit with new systems and tweaks that add to the badass feeling a little more from Lv 1 anyway.
I did say this month would be busy, and I still have more videos to make. 😎
Given your voice, I wouldn't be surprised if being busy would include playing a star role in ff16's new dlc. Your voice is something to envy.
So glad you are getting the attention from the developers you deserve - well played sir!

DAMN this looks great! You're lucky Havian!!!
Very nice FF VII Rebirth info! I'm super excited for the sequel! Looks like so much fun!
Thanks for posting! I appreciate the work you put in.
What I wanna know is if we are getting the PHS in battle too. Would be cool to seamlessly swap in and out party members in battle.
Awesome coverage as usual.

I love the structured breakdown of the demo’s features ❤ great job 👏
Lmao. Omg i hope they keep Nanaki riding a chocobo in that is so damn funny
I'll be getting this after I finish Persona 3 Reload.

Red riding a chocobo is something I didn't know I wanted to see
GOD DAMN I CANT WAIT FOR MODS TO MAKE SEPHIROTH PERMANENTLY PLAYABLE
Can't wait for it to drop on PC in 2027🔥😭
Can't wait for them to announce Part 3 as a PS6 exlusive.
Thanks bro!

@@HavianCritDmg Oh that's great!
I hope he has it. Thank you for your answer. 😉👍
it’s red riding a chocobo for me 😅
This looks amazing
February 2024 is crazy
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

I'm trying to stay strong so I save some money and just wait for the inevitable complete edition, but these new gameplay details make it hard.
Need to wait for the pc version 😢
Actually the original FF fans are preferring LINEAR way!
You don't need to speak for anyone else, say what 'you' prefer. I played the original, and I'm fine with both linear and non linear.
Is there a character level cap??
It looks okay but my heart is with GBF :)
Can you swap materia mid fight?
Which are you more excited for? This or Relink?
I'm looking forward to them both, but I'll spend more time playing Relink.
So can you continue your characters as an option- level, materia ect.
Nope, fresh start, though Square did say you'll get a 'lil somethin' somethin' for having a Remake save file.
Ramah and leviathan materia

after ff16 i finally see we are getting a proper final fantasy
Havian Please tell me Vincent is back...
He's back. Don't think he will be controllable in this one, but he's there.
I hope you can perform limit breaks and summons more often, also they were very underwhelming in terms of damage in Remake.
now Sephiroth as party member here is pretty weak.
