  • Here is my collection of pole dance grip products that I have acquired over the years. I try to pole for as long as I can without grip and turn to it if necessary. I know others tend to favour using grips which is absolutely fine. I have tried most of them and definitely have my favourites.
    Our skins types are all different, so rather than show you a review of each grip, I just wanted to show you all what's out there.
    I've read the labels as to where and how you are meant to use each one and so the info in this video is correct as per the packaging.

    Would have loved if you explained your likes and dislikes for each product, and provided a small description, also the ingredients? X

    Dancing Dust is AMAZING!! Lots of choice for either dry and sweaty or tacky with added glitzy shimmer.

    I recently took my first pole class and got so discouraged because I kept sliding down the pole faster than I could get around :( My hands were pretty sweaty that day, and I was wondering - does that seem like a grip problem where I should be using one of these products, or is it more of a technique issue? I seem to recall spending more effort trying to maintain my height on the pole with my arms than anything else, basically trying to keep pulling myself up, is that generally where I should be focusing? Also, is there any kind of simple exercise I can do at home to try to address as much as possible that issue before the next class?

      Ahh don’t get discouraged - it does take time to get used to the pole. Only might sound silly but really think about using the pull / push in your arms rather than just holding on. Hopefully your grip strength will start to get stronger and you won’t slide as much! Grip can help of course but I’d see how you get on in your next class - I’m sure your instructor will be able to help 😀

    I have general anxiety and my hands are far too sweaty to pole without at least an antiperspirant so I use POLEtice and I love it. It makes my hands a little on the tacky side, I've found using dry hands afterwards makes my hands dry enough n.n

      I'm really glad that you've found a grip combo that works for you :D And your comment will help others who are too slippery on the pole - thank you :)

      Hi, we sell a grip enhancer that also works as an anti-perspirant. It comes in a powder formula and sounds perfect for what you need. It may be worth a try? We also have liquid chalks available. www.powergripsport.com

    This video didn’t help me because I can’t read the names of the Grips you prefer
    And you didn’t write it in the description.
    Thanks for the video tho; the concept was great

      Hi Keya - I did write the names in the description, it's just at the bottom! I hope that helps :D

    My grip in general is okay apart from my thighs during things like leg sits. Are most of these products okay to use on legs?

    • @PoleFreaks
      @PoleFreaks  6 лет назад

      Hi! Some of these are for certain body parts, or for the pole. I would just make sure that you only use a tiny bit on your legs at first before testing grip and potentially adding more... it can be VERY grippy otherwise :D If you look in the description box it says what they are meant to be used on :D

    Could you list the names of everything in the description box or something? it's sort of hard to see in the video! Thanks

    Hi! congrats for your videos! I love all! :D I would like to ask you if you can recomend me some kind of grip product that doesn´t stain my skin..i am always with a lot of White spot all over the body due to the magnesium and other liquid grips and for my shows it´s not a good look :( can you help me please?

      @PoleFreaks  7 лет назад

      Hi! Thank you - I'm so glad you like the videos :D What is your skin like without grip? I use to body sorbet on my legs as my legs are dry, but if you're slidely that might not help! Most people I know use dry hands, although the xdry is becoming more popular now as well :D

    Where can i buy dry hands pole grip??

    • @PoleFreaks
      @PoleFreaks  4 года назад +1

      McManus-Bass family Hi! It depends which one(s) you want and where you’re based... I would say amazon is quite a good start point. I know different grips come in and out of fashion so some of these are easier to get hold of than others 😬

    What substance adds a little bit of tacky to your hand? Stickum is overkill. Looking for that but easier to wash off, and more of a cream or white paste. Any thoughts?

    • @PoleFreaks
      @PoleFreaks  6 лет назад

      Have you tried x-dry? Also dry hands is usually a go to for a lot of people. I hope that helps!

      @@PoleFreaks I'm not sure that drying my hands is the goal, just giving them more grit and some stick. Do those products both achieve that goal and mix well with chalk?

    • @PoleFreaks
      @PoleFreaks  6 лет назад

      In that case, I honestly don't know! The issue most people have is that their hands get too slidey / sweaty so things like chalk and dry hands do well to dry them out and help grip... I'm not sure what would make hands sticky because I would imagine that as soon as you sweat or spin it would get slidey. There are loads of sticky products for the body but I just don't know how useful they would be on hands! You could try iTac - that's quite a sticky one and the label says it's for body and hands
