Android Robot "Aiko Chihira" takes over as Receptionist of Tokyo Store

- A life-like android robot marked her first day at work as a receptionist at a major department store in Tokyo on Monday, greeting customers as they walked in.
The Mitsukoshi Nihombashi department store unveiled their new receptionist "Aiko Chihira" to customers and the media.
The department store said it hopes the robot will be an effective tool in giving directions to customers and boosting store campaigns.
The robot will serve as receptionist at the store's entrance until Tuesday, after which it will be available as a guide on the store's 7th floor until the 5 May.

This will help with people relating to her in a closer connection. It would show the people that she contains interested in what they say let alone what is going on or being said. :)
It's would be more natural to develop such a robot, looks precisely like Arnold Shwartzenegger with 6-gun machine in right hand.
SOMEONE...is going to make out with this robot at some point, then these androids will become obsolete after the developer has to constantly clean up after them

Still doesn't move right. I know there are actuators that are capable of the extremely rapid and repetitive micro movements because I've seen the videos here on yt. So why the fuck isn't this technology being used in place of the stiff, clunky, awkward automatons we've been shown so far?

Come on, let's see her in action! Why have a video describing the phenomenon and not show her interacting with people?!! I've seen androids do more in 'the making of' videos. This is the time to showcase the skills that took so much effort to produce!
