Hey Tanner nice video. I was asking that how do you get that glue off of your hands? (13:37) I recently built an aquarium and I struggled so hard to rub that silicon glue off of my fingers!
Beautiful. Inspiring. I would love to see this again after it naturally ages after 6-8months later. Please can you do a follow up video. This is soo beautiful.
This young man is incredibly meticulous and diligent in everything he does. His workshop and bench is as organised and clean as an operating theatre! It seems there is nothing he can’t make or do! The care he shows for his tools, equipment, his project and the artistry in dressing this feature is truly impressive. He’s a natural!
@@krystalbel1417 if you’re referring to when he cut the PVC sheet, that’s a utility knife, and he was at his workbench. That’s what workbenches are for! 😊😊
This is why my husband and I love watching his videos. His attention to detail is outstanding!!! I’ll bet his teachers LOVED him! LOL I think my favorite thing about Tanner’s work is that in the front of his mind is always what’s best for the animal and what will make it happy, healthy, and thrive. You have to respect that!
It’s definitely an interesting switch once in awhile, but I always appreciate his explanations about what he’s working on and how he decided on it, the materials, plants, and whichever livestock he’s using.
Mate. Maaaaate. Just outstanding. I WANT IT!!! My only teeny, tiny issue is the plastic tub, I think it would look even better if it were painted black. Or any colour really, just to disguise the fact it's a plastic tub really. But the bricks - genius pal. I love it. Big love from a horrible, wet Scotland.
I'm eye-ballin' the small stack of bricks in my yard and seriously contemplating a trip to the hardware store. I love all of your builds, but glass cutting and custom building terrariums is a bit intimidating. I love that you also give us small, pre-made terrarium ideas as well as cool projects like this! You're the best, Tanner!
My favorite by far! I was actually moved to tears by the memories flooding my mind of my childhood in England. The red brick, moss, ivy, and simulated rain are like a time warp into my past. Thank you Tanner for the brilliant idea and creativity.
I can not even begin to express my gratitude for this inspiration. The idea, in its "complex simplicity" will fulfill so many needs and desires within my capabilities, limitations, and financial considerations. While I have always been an admirer of your talents, this example is enthralling. "Thank you" is not enough - no amount of gushing and fawning would be enough to give voice to my very sincere gratitude. Be assured that I will acknowledge the inspiration for what I feel will become an admired addition to my home and lifestyle. So, in closing - THANK YOU!!
'nature' (or what I prefer to call 'life') doesn't need superglue, plastic pipe, polystyrene boards, electric pumps and silicone sealant . It's very pretty and meticulously created but not actually a replication of nature and I feel very sad to see all the comments here that suggest it is. I hope it inspires people to go out and look for this in natural spaces and to do all they can to keep those places alive and healthy too.
@@millycarmichael9331 While this is true, just cause it doesn't happen exactly the same way as nature doesn't mean it isn't a replication of it, you could say it's an attempt at recreating it to the best degree possible.
Your build and idea and the way it come together are majestic , i trully love your work man, plus you love moss too,, i dont know anyone else who love moss .

I could not figure out what was SO satisfying about watching your videos like this.... then I just realized it... you're so calm. completely in your element and not RUSHING anything. just letting the process happen. Relaxed. It does that to me. Relaxing. calming. I rather enjoy your videos. all of them.
Tanya I appreciated the camera angles so much. I realise the work to move (&remember to) is hard so thank you. It was so good though I did nearly fall asleep a couple of times but that’s cause it’s relaxing & I’m tired. I loved it. I’d love to soo soothing like that in sandstone.. 👍
I created my first terrarium last month. It's nowhere compared to the kind of stuffs you make. But I wanna thank you for being such an inspiration. Hopefully, I'll be able to create more. Thank you, Tanner. Much love from the Philippines.
This would be so cool, when I spent time in Virginia I saw walls like this in old Petersburg and I think it'd be so neat to see a bioactive terrarium with this as the entire backdrop/scape and have it be for a corn snake in a abandoned building
This is absolutely my most favourite of any that you have done. If I had this I would be so honoured to have it in my home as my most coveted and prized possession, after my dog of course! It's absolutely superior to any type of terrarium design I've ever seen. Hats off to you mate, just wow! 👏 👏 👏
Who can take 4 bricks, silicone, and other various odds and ends, plus a few plants and turn them into a stunning work of living art.... Tanner can, that's who!!!
This was so pleasant and relaxing to watch! I can't wait to see what it looks like after having time to grow! I'm a bit late to the game, here, but I hope maybe there's a time-lapse or something, so we can see how it ages and changes over time. Thank you for posting this!
This has to be one of my favorite builds of yours, and that's saying a lot! It feels like a living piece of art. Truly beautiful. I can't wait to see how it looks after a few months of growth.
This reminds me of my old garden, i had brick planters made and after a couple of years they looked like this wall, incuding the rattlesnake ferns, it just looked awesome.
I know you do this for the education, and I do really appreciate that, but it’s really nice to get one of these in the mix here and there. Thank you for helping me stay zen this morning ♥️
Very Primitive Technology of you. Love the style of video, and the project. Even down to the camera angles and length of each shot you really captured the feel of Primitive Technology's videos lol.
If I ever hit the lottery, I'm spending 100k or better on everything he has made. I found scraping moss off a few rocks today just to decorate so rocks. I could never be this great but my little rocks are cute now. Thank for being here and being an inspiration.
Amazing as always! I always enjoy your commentary but this was a nice change in pace, I can always enjoy some relaxation after finals. You should put your logo on your watering can like you did on the base of your project! Serpadesign logos EVERYWHERE!

And here I was thinking he was just going to stack bricks up and use moss as morter. Well done sir

Except when he started cutting hose, barehanded. I feared for his fingers. Should have done the cutting on the work bench.
While I agree, he did also carve into his desk several times with the exacto lol

This is the Bob Moss-iest video yet! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the make process in this laid back way. Keep up the wonderful work, Tanner!

It´s funny that he wrote 'Satisfying and Relaxing Build' in the title, even though each of his videos is relaxing and satisfying to watch. :D
When he titles them Satisfying and Relaxing he means that he isn’t going to do any kind of commentary.
Idk. I got quite edgy when he kept retrimming tubing @ 7:20ish
