The rainfall terrarium is here and I think it's awesome! Let me know what you thought of the project and video with a comment. Have a great weekend SerpaSquad!
Hey Tanner, are u an engineer of any kind? Or in school to be an engineer? Your way of thinking and describing things is very like my brother's thought process and he's a architectural engineer.
I have to say, I watched several tutorials on dismantling fish tanks, including watching Tanner do it a few times. Others use the really narrow putty knife and a razor blade, and I tried that with some luck. Then I decided to use a razor scraper and it was so much better... now I, too, am using the razor scraper for everything.
How does this Titan, this *God* of a man manage to: • Pump out an amazingly edited video every week • Work on multiple ter-pal-viv-rip-aqua-riums per month • Look after all his animals and keep them extremely healthy • Keep his plants pristine • Do all the maintenance on the projects • Pay for the electricity bills
He loves what he does, does what he loves... pretty sure he quit his regular job a few months back to do YT full time, and he got that ad revenue!!!... I can't wait for him to start a company selling equipment... I just hope he ships to the UK! 🤣
I hecking love your art. If there was a museum/gallery filled with your terrariums and animal homes I would go see it and walk around for hours and take hundreds of pictures.
Hey Tanner, I’m a 24 yo guy from Chile and I’ve been fascinated by your moss videos! Let me tell you I’ve been collecting them for a while now and today I just made two terrariums. Thanks for showing and teaching us the how to! I’d love to see more videos about the moss itself so I can learn how to take care of them and it’s growth process. Sending love to all my moss people 🖤🦋🐛🌈✨
Did he just make rain ?! RAIN !! With each new project Tanner, you always outdo yourself. What a beautiful and exciting concept. Thanks for sharing this with us.

While I am intrigued by ALL of your creations, THIS one has me craving a piece such as this. Just watching the finished views, I could feel myself becoming entranced and absorbed by the falling water. I may even consider raiding my meager savings if I could find one commercially available! Thank you so much for the inspiration, and for continuously providing informative and entertaining content. Though it showcases your talents and creativity, it also inspires and educates others. Bravo and Thank You!
I really like this kind of video with every explanations, it's a bit "longer" but I really appreciate all the details so we can understand perfectly what you're doing during all the process. Thank you for all your video, I love every one of them and you bring me a lot of inspiration !
Tanner outdoes himself every time. The success of his channel is a perfect illustration of what perseverance, patience and hard work can do. Thanks for being such a positive influence in the RUclips and reptile community, Tanner.
You should do a biography video would love to know what you did in high school and stuff your woodworking skills are always on point. You're also very meticulous in your work.
I started creating terrariums by watching your videos, I have PTSD so creating terrariums are my way of relaxing and keeping my mind busy. This beautiful terrarium is something I look forward to making myself, I appreciate the processes and walking through each step, You are a very good teacher! I look forward to many more videos thanks tanner 🙂
that turned out really nice. i think i want to try to build something like that for my autistic daughter. watching rain drops and running water really helps soothe her when shes too wound up. she loves watching the 3 fish tanks i have set up around the house
Every time I watch one of your videos I'm amazed. The creativity, the aesthetic, the artistry, the engineering. And always surprised to see materials used I wouldn't have thought to use
Came across your channel by accident, and I was totally hooked, I was never a plant person, until I bought my first Bonsai tree, and I became hooked! After the holidays I will be making my own terrarium! Thank you so much for expanding my horizons!
I get so hyped for his videos! I built a beautiful terrarium for my female praying mantis! She loves it! Thank you for making your videos for inspiration and things for us to enjoy! ❤️
We need a serpa line of most of your usual items like the most common hardscape peices, the common plants, glass cutting tools, razer scrapper.....it NEEDS to happen
This is definitely my favorite style of video I've seen you experiment around with in the past few years. You know a lot about this stuff so it's awesome to see/hear your thoughts on it in an unscripted and on-the-spot manner
I was so impressed that you built from scratch everything. You have such an awesome creative gift. When you start the scaping I almost get in a meditative mode. I feel me body relax. That's what your videos do to me. Love it.
I like your smaller builds the best. The big ones are amazing, but these feel more delicate in that you have so much skill in making them. It's easy to make big origami cranes, but the tiny 2 mm cranes take effort and practice. Thanks
This looks like something you would find in a high end office of some kind. You could literally make a few of these and they would easily sell for a couple hundred dollars a piece (adjusting price based off how much it cost to build it of course) It's an amazing centerpiece for any office or den area. I keep saying this with all of your builds, but this one has impressed me more than I previously thought was possible! You've outdone yourself yet again!
I like the start to finish video format. Shows the creativity and how the project evolves over time. Anyone who has done a project like this knows that how you draw it up is never exactly how it eventually turns out. I think this shows that process and I look forward to more in this format in the future!
I’m so glad I watched this awesome terrarium build within 30 min since it got uploaded and I’ve been waiting a week for this moment! Every terrarium you build is amazing and so relaxing:)
The rainfall idea is super cool! It'd be sweet if you were able to implement that on a larger scale with a larger terrarium or vivarium on a timer. Sort of like an afternoon rain shower for the plants and animals in the tank!
Actually removing the front glass is a bit unexpected modification, but wow it works! I love it that you can reach out and touch the rain whenever you want 😍😍😍
Definitely not what we were expecting Tanner, and in a good way. This was a really awesome idea that turned out well. Really cool to see an idea go from your head, to the paper to construction to a finished piece. It looks really good!! Clearly very accurate cuts on the table saw too. Thanks for sharing some of the minutia as well.
Would love to see you take this idea a step further and make this into an "at a glance" weather forcast. You could add some LEDs, use a raspberry pi to get the lastest weather forcast and control the pump and leds for real time weather effects. E.g. Thunderstorms? Flicker the LEDs and activate the pump. Warm weather? Nice warm yellow LED. Could go even further and incorporate a mist machine for when it's foggy out. All this might not fit into this build though. Anyway, awesome build! Keep up the good work!
Love the music you used on this one...I love gardening and this all seems like good winter projects for me. This is beautiful.... I am a costume designer and can really relate to your methods and artistic eye.
I LOVE this idea!!! I would love to see an update in a few months to see how the plants are growing. I wonder of maintenance would be a pain with this setup, especially if your plants grew a lot.
I’ve been subscribed for a while now, but totally forgot about this account until I just happened upon one of the videos. You really do it all: terrariums/paludariums, DIYs, design, and tons of reptile content too! Love to see a channel that combines all my interests into one!
I really liked this build. Creative and somewhat simple. But I also liked the way you recorded the video and explained everything as you were doing it. I got the feeling of it being more personal with the viewer. Still love all the other videos but the switch up was very pleasing!
this one was definitely a crazy idea but executed very well. i had no idea what you were going for until it started coming together. Very nice build, lots of very precice cuts.
Looks great, love your tanks! Did an 8x10 foot rain box installation yrs ago for an art show. If you use a strobe light and adjust the settings it helps make the rain look more real. Also used adjustable drip nozzles on a water line for added control, front could rain slower with bigger drops while the back was set up for more of a downpour and added depth.
Every time I see you drilling glass I think you should get a drill press. It'd make stuff so much easier and cleaner, being able to drill straight down every time.

Hey Tanner, are u an engineer of any kind? Or in school to be an engineer? Your way of thinking and describing things is very like my brother's thought process and he's a architectural engineer.
My video idea is an aloe, fern and airplant on bark tree in the central area
Yeah it’s awesome keep up the great work!
No I'm not an engineer. That's just how my brain works. I've always been obsessed with building things and knowing how they work.
we need a SerpaDesigns branded razor scraper
And fan brush.
And bent piece of wire.
Yess!!!

@@1337est1337 Order online? It might be a lil more expensive cause shipping but like, worth it?
I already considered ordering it. But even then its hard to find a store that sells it and ships without horrendous shipping cost
And the moss
I got them, unfortunate they seems to grow very very slow.
I love this kind of videos where u show everything from start to end almost like tutorial
Holy cow that is awesome. Im pretty sure a Few Zoos would love to pick up Tannar as an exhibit designer
YESSS!!!
Monterey bay aquarium is probably watching these videos like "oh! jot that down! jot that down!"
the glass snapping is so satisfying

Now waiting for Tanner to turn his room into a terrarium.
Or jus a closet 😂
That is actually what is happening to my room - all of my terrariums from my channel are filling up my room!
@@Salamanders1018 Not enough light though, lol
NysArt if made an entire closet a terrarium u would put built in lights
@@Salamanders1018 True, true, good point. I wonder if his huge room with all the terrariums is just a giant walk in closet!

Tanner that was a bloody POWERFUL intro, damn youre getting too good at the youtube game :')
It is really hard to find the right balance in an intro, but he definitely got it.
Could you just do a 10 minute video of that section where you're showing off the build with music? So satisfying 😌
