It's not camazots bc of its tail also if It was camazots there would be his swarm and storm,so its most likely new kaiju

I think you're right about the center earth or whatever it's called. Didn't John Goodman's character believe it existed in Skull Island? A great year for fans of the G-Man.

Hollow Earth. Not trying to be a jackass know-it-all, just trying to help. 😂 You're right about John Goodman's character too. I think he was the one that first came up with the Skull Island theory, and got funding to investigate it. Between the new Legendary Monsterverse movie, Toho's new Godzilla Minus One, and this new series, we're in for one hell of a ride. I kinda feel like we don't deserve all the attention we're getting, LOL.
Not to mention the animated series Gamera Rebirth just dropped. If you can watch it, do it! It's a great show.

While it would be nice to see him in a show, I'd like it FAR more if Battra was in a proper Godzillaverse movie.
As long as they go back to the tone of the 2014 film yeah. The last 2 films were hot garbage.
Off topic, but I’m hoping the monsterverse introduces the rhedosaurus into the monsterverse and the film has the same grounded serous tone as 2014 and like this new monarch show. WB has the licenses and are working with legendary pictures. So hoping they can, and other classic ones as well.

Definitely not Battra. They don’t have his license from Toho. If it’s not new it could be Camazotz. He was in the prequel comic to GVK. Trailer looks amazing. Show has that darker G14 feel which is how the Monsterverse should have stayed in my opinion. Looking forward to this. And thanks for the great video again!
Agreed, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters took me back what it should've been for the whole series. I don't forgive 'wannabe-Zack-Snyder' (Michael Dougherty) for going into this super sci-fi bad goofy-humor tone in KotM, and expanded into GvK and the sequel to it.
Shot in the dark, but maybe this is leading to a Monster Island type set up. The way Kurt Russels character, he talks about protecting both worlds could mean Monarch tried luring all the titans to their own little habitat.
Hollow Earth is pretty much Monster Island on steroids.
I always liked these Godzilla Movies. All three of them were Good. I even liked the less well received King of Monsters. Which I liked more than the third one. I don’t know how Monarch will turn out? But it looks better than, Most of the other stuff we get in the Sci Fi genre of late. 🔥 🦖🦕🦕🦕🦕🦅
KotM was the best out of them all.
Kotm was epic! Added a lot of really rich and unique lore and new titans such as behemoth, methuselah, Scylla, and queen muto, and the classic three toho Kaijus. Also hope to see titans from kotm that didn’t appear on film, they had 17 and even more reported Titans in the film and we’re waking up. This new monarch series hinted at Titanus baphomet in the trailer. Also hope to see Mokele mbembe, a kaiju sauropod dinosaur. Also that new dragon creature looks awesome, has Zuul like horns and has pronged tail spikes and cool fish like wing membranes. Also a cool crab like crustacean that is about to battle a giant spider! It’s going to be Awesome.
Camazotz is a bat-like Titan who appears in the 2021 Legendary Comics graphic novel Kingdom Kong, a prequel to Godzilla vs. Kong.

Battra is one of my favorites. Not just in his look, but also in his purpose. Mothra is Earth's guardian for the people, whereas Battra was the guardian of the planet itself. Unfortunately Godzilla vs. Mothra Battle for Earth is one of the few I don't have on disc. I always loved how Mothra finally appealed to Battra, and got him to help put Godzilla to sleep too. I don't think the monster in this trailer is Battra though. Ya gotta remember that Battra is just like Mothra in that he comes from an egg, and his first form is a larva. In order to pull off the same effect they did with Mothra's intro, they'd have to do similar with Battra. In the series they could pull that off because his maturity could take several episodes to manifest until he reached adulthood, so that's very possible too though.
I just finished watching Gamera Rebirth on Netflix, and MAN was it good! I can't wait to see your reaction/review for it, Mr. H. It was so good to finally see Gamera again!
John Goodman follows his line of “that’s what we wanted Monarch to be” with “instead I’m fighting monsters” showing the extreme shift the company took with the existence of titans
Battra is a Moth and brother to Mothra. This looks more like a new monster that will probably just be in 1 episode to be killed by Monarch or Kong (if on skull island).
This series will bounce back-and-forth in time. They'll use Kurt Russell's son as a young vision of the character.

I think it's an original Titan, gives of a wyvern / dragon vibe, not a bat, just of thinking of bat designs, the bat from Godzilla the series, Bagorah from age of monsters comic and Camazotz.
It looks abit like one of those deep sea eels, to me anyway.

So it looks like Shaw (Kurt/Wyatt) had a romance with the woman in the first film footage and he sends her daughter the Monarch files. Wyatt/Shaw is definitely heading to hollow earth in the one scene. Kurt is going to thread the chronology together as we'll see shots from previous movies but from different angles. Truly awesome

The last two Godzilla movies premiered exclusively on Max( Formerly HBO Max). I’m just surprised HBO didn’t obtain the rights to this series. Oh well Apple TV+ has a lot of underrated content so now the platform can shine unlike never before!

This is a really good trailer! It's so good to be excited from a good made trailer but also not knowing what will happen. The effects and CGI is insane and if you look at the other stuff Apple made until now it looks really promising that this series could be really good.
My gosh this teaser trailer looks absolutely amazing 👍 I really personally like to see the horrors of Godzilla with fantastic monstrosity in the monster verse, I really am impressed of it.

this feels more gareth edwards-esk, which I love. I've enjoyed all the recent Godzilla movies but 2014 is by far my favorite. Grounded, shot from the human perspective that makes it a tad more believable and gives it a real sense of scale.
That creature that flew past is most likely the Bat titan that was suppose to make an appearance in Godzilla vs Kong
Camazot possibly from the look of it. It might also be Titan Abaddon as his design is similar to Camazot but is more reptilian or almost dragon like.
Well it can’t be Camazotz because it was only awoken when ghidorah used the alpha call in 2019. And it looks more like a dragon and doesn’t have fur or wings like Camazotz and the face and tail is different to.

i know its not the science patrol but i do think the orange retro style uniforms look a lot like the showa era ultraman science patrol uniforms. if its a homage than that is really cool.

Shinomura was a crustacean like creature with no legs and was formed with a bunch of creature together. It’s likely it’s a new wyvern type creature, but shinomura could appear.

It's wild that they wanted to put this out as a streaming series...but this will bring in subscriptions. The only part that made me roll my eyes was the teen /twenty somethings. Smart releasing this following Minus One's trailer. Then you have the series dropping before Minus One hits theaters. The momentum will be huge come November/December.
Marketing should milk it and release one episode a week instead of a series dump.

It's a Godzilla show but not completely it's called legacy of monsters and some scenes look like it takes place on Skull Island judging by the overgrowth on the ship and the crab fight the mother longlegs. The mother longlegs of which is on Skull Island.
