This is what drive to survive should have been, you are killing it WEC and you deserve a surge in popularity, capitalize on the dissatisfaction of F1 fans and grow true racing fans and not clout chasers
@@kirkfranklinboy1986that is true, but that doesn't justify it. The entertainment is the purity of Motorsport itself, not clout chasing - as mentioned.
Idk why, but seeing Roger Penske discuss tire strategy with the drivers was so cool. The man has an unrivaled passion for motorsport, obviously, but it's cool to see that he stays up on those small but important bits like tire strategy.
I really liked seeing the drivers' meeting. Having been to a NASCAR drivers' meeting, the feel was much different. I think everyone could tell it was going to be a tricky race.
the response from Bovy kind of reminds me a bit of Nicki Thiim from last year at the Spa 24 hours race when he 360'd it going up raidillon after contact with another car, tv pitlane reporter offered to show him a replay and he said he didn't need to see it because he was in it
Great work WEC. That's the best one yet. Thank you so much for showing stuff from all 3 classes as well. There are stories every where not just in Hyper Car. Great work.
This was fantastic, I hope the series keeps doing these films. It was great to see the event unfold through so many different perspectives while also cutting between the in car cameras and the TV broadcast commentary. Bravo
Loved the view at MH,AD and GG from the back. Really got me to feel kind of standing behind them. Loving their commentary. MH comment on Seb cracked me up again lmao
These vids are so cool, the drivers are so likeable, the cars look and sound great, and moreover on spa : damn I love wec so much, can't wait for my first irl le mans 🤩
This is absolutely fantastic. It epitomizes so well that the true racing is for and by everyone with passion for the sport. This video shows The Spirit of Racing!
I love the sequence beginning at 7.:20. I love it to stand as near as posdible to the track by myself. It's like Anthony said, you feel the cars. The complete WEC Full Access series is genius. Thanks so much for producing ❤❤❤
Thanks for adding outline for subtitles! Could you also do that for the rest of captions like introductions of people (name, surname, function), descriptions of events etc.?
So awesome to see Dr. Ulrich! I was really sad when Audi cancelled their Le Mans program. Grew up watching them back in the day and own an Audi now because of that.
Fantastic and insightful. So much work in the background that you never see or know what’s happening behind the race. Well done WEC. Love this sport. ❤
Brilliant as always. Great idea to show the Eau Rouge from that point, and a very nice choice of personalities to follow. Sarah and her dog provided a nice start to the story, like in a heist movie.
Please continue this program! It's what i wish all race series did. Focus on the long form recap of the race with a bit of behind the scenes & garage footage! *_Seriously_** well done!* 👍🤘✌️
PLEASE KEEP MAKING THESE VIDEOS, I really like to be these close to the action, and I really like the ambience and the respect drivers have between each other despite being on oposite teams is awesome
I would say I like this one much more than a similar series by Netflix. Less drama (though people like drama). Just race, cars, drivers, engineers, and happy fans. Everyone is doing their job with a lot of passion. I am really enjoying the moment. (A suggestion is that this video comes late -- 10 days after the race. If this video can be divided into two, then the audiences can watch one of them earlier. Edit : there is short version last year. I missed those videos. Compared with the 8min version, 40 min version is better.)
they did that last year where they split the race weekend up into multiple episodes but it meant they were only 7/8 minutes long hence people complained most weeks that they were too short
@@rory6065 You are right. Thank you for your comment. I haven’t seen those videos. 8 min video is pretty short, tell the truth. Plus they didn’t number those videos.
I wonder why they keep saying that Lilou Wadoux is 19 years old. Even in the interview at the end that could have easily been fact-checked and cutted... She is 22 I think. It feels like no one at WEC Media Team knows this
Oh yeah!! I took it as fact that she is 19. Checked it and of course, you're correct. She was born Apr 2001 so now 22. Mix up with Doriane Pin maybe? She IS 19
Loved this episode, the view in the Ferrari Garage after Quali and the sneak peak into the drivers meeting was awesome. But Iron Dames Le Mans win confirmed, they said it, they'll do it.

If you like this sort of thing, Laurens Vanthoor does a similar vlog about many of his races. Of course it's about him and doesn't cover all the teams, but it's really high quality, and he's a really great, interesting guy. Look for " Over the limit". He also does a podcast with his brother Dries. I highly recommend it.
Because then you would have random bits of commentary in between. This isn't uncommon in sports and simply helps with transitions so even viewers who haven't seen the race know what's going on.
For this year in FIA WEC all but one item is perfect. Love in particular these team engagements in all categories. But a disgrace is the new tire regulatory ... wets just in Le Mans and no pre warming at all ... I would refer most of the outlap accidents seen by now to this issue ... and it is an issue for such high performance race cars on these endurance tracks... just imagine the Le Mans outlap situation with Hypercars on cold tires getting to the Dunlop chicane ... then through the Esses to Tertre Rouge and on the Hunaudiers with the two chicanes... a tally chart might be good to note all fly-offs to be expected even on dry track ... and lets hope that the drivers survive it ... not to mention the limited performance and reduced overall laptimes ...
Watching Toyota drivers get mad when they are being challenged for position is hilarious, they had 4-5 years of uncontested dominance and drivers letting them pass because they're faster. But the moment they actually truely have competitive rivals that fight for position (regardless of how early in the race it is) and watching them complain like Buemi at 24:28 is slightly satisfying.
This is what drive to survive should have been, you are killing it WEC and you deserve a surge in popularity, capitalize on the dissatisfaction of F1 fans and grow true racing fans and not clout chasers
