@@bloozedaddy I don't disagree with you, I'm just breaking down what I think probably happened. Tyron is free to do as he wants as a FA. He made $12.2M last year. I don't know if I would pay that for him again, especially if Tyron was insisting on a multi-year deal. I thought some of the OL back ups played okay last year. Specifically Ball and Hutchinson was it??? Anyhow we have a lot of positions that need addressed in FA and the draft.

This is nothing more than agent hyping his client, which he should. No smartly run team is paying top $ for a guy who can't practice and will miss multiple games. Tyron can walk. If he wants to stay then league minimum as a back up. If you play then you can get more money

Come on Fish. Tyron is the never ending story that needs to be put to bed. The fact that the Jones boys botched the goodbye shouldn’t surprise anyone.

I’m glad they are finally moving on, Make Tyler Smith the left tackle. Will McClay has always said he’s the left tackle of the future. The future is now! That being said, Tyron is a Hall of Famer, his body has broken down. He can’t practice

I do believe that it was time for Tyron Smith to move on. He was not the greatest offensive lineman to ever play for the Cowboys but definitely a Hall of Famer when he decides to retire. It is unfortunate that he was not able to win a Super Bowl Title while he was here. As has been proven over the last 28 going on 29 years any long time Cowboys Star has to actually leave the Cowboys to win a Super Bowl. Good Luck Tyron you deserved better and so do all of us long time die hard OG Cowboys Fans!

He's too unreliable... he has missed more than 1/2 of the games and he requires you have to overpay him to not play you can't afford to get someone who can be reliable and play... Let him go!!!
