    Love it 😍😍 I just texlaxed my hair this week! I am extremely tender headed and my hair is really thick and challenging to manage but this texlax has made it sooo better so far!

      Fantastic! I hope it continues to work for you because we don't need to be so worried about hair every day. I was and still am very tender headed too. Some days I couldn't stand to touch my own hair. Come back soon!

    Yea a lot of us over process our hair cause they tell 6-8 weeks retouch but that's way too soon for most of us when I started just waiting for my hair to grow out before I perm it was healthier and grew more so I perm my hair only 3 times a year now

    Hello Sis Lyric, Your texlaxed hair came out wonderfully and I will research this ORS type here in the UK. Great job and unique method. Glad to find a Hair YOutube influencer who makes things simple and not over complicate the process. #Yourwayisbrillant. I hope you do a moisture treatment/conditioner texlaxed wash day. There aree too much videos on protein and I understand why there has been breakage with a lot of the relaxed/texlaxed ladies. Have subscribe!!!!

    Your damaged hair looks like mine does when it’s been over moisturised. All poofy and slightly brown in colour, easily shed and broke.
    The purple Ahpogee leave in you use is so richly moisturising you need to balance it with the Aphogee green tea leave in for strength. This hair stuff can be detective work, I know everyone’s hair reacts differently but the protein moisture balance is something that we’re all trying to get right.
    I was also using an oil that I didn’t realise had strong humectant properties, making my hair constantly slightly damp. It made my hair so weak.
    All this stuff is trial error. X

    • @LyricSpencer
      @LyricSpencer  2 года назад

      It's true! Trial and error, but luckily hair does grow back. I used aphogee all the time when I was natural but it really destroyed my hair relaxed. I didn't need to do that harsh protein treatment, and you're likely spot on about being able to balance it.

    Fun fact; the girls on the relaxer boxes are natural. They use natural hair girls because the natural hair tends to look thicker and fuller than relaxed hair 🙂 so it’s purposefully misleading so they can sell their product

    • @LyricSpencer
      @LyricSpencer  2 года назад

      I bet! My hair only ever looked like that before I relaxed it too. LOL So funny. If I wanted thicker hair though I would never have relaxed it. I had too much hair to deal with. Short hair is super easy.

      Indeed. I have never had a great experience at salons. I've noticed that the ladies with great, healthy relaxed her were doing it at home...I wasn't one of them LOL. I think it's going to be smooth sailing from here.
