- On the tourist Parkrun trail again with poor recent Parkrun and session results affecting my motivation. Headed down to Trentham Gardens Parkrun, south of Stoke-on-Trent. Never thought it'd be snowing as we waited to start! Beautiful park in which to run and it's very popular for that reason, 581 runners this week but they had 890 last week for their 100th event. Great to chat with other runners Clare and Pauline in the Pau cafe afterwards, and also to meet Lis and Ruth from The Trent Rivers Trust who are holding a 15K (3 x 5K) relay along the Trent in June. Andy, absolutely gorgeous garden and thanks for showing us around. English gardens have always been the gold standard. Kudos on your Parkrun, continue with your training, the fitness will come back, and you will run 22 minutes.
