Touchscreens are a stupid modern fad and are completely unnecessary and dangerous. Physical buttons are easier to use and are much safer as one touch is often all you need, instead of going to menus and submenus while taking your eyes off the road.
I love how Mercedes got so extreme with the cost cutting that even the rev counter animation is stuttering quite badly. Check it 0:48
I checked and it only happens during the first few seconds after “booting” the car. I think it’s acceptable. Other cars have their reverse camera lag after start, a more serious issue :)

customers in relevant consumer markets like china, asia etc dont put that much attention into long term built quality, materials etc. the mostly just care for digital stuff, enormous displays etc.

but it just beeps three times and mercedes chose an really soft beeping sound. its mandatory in eu for nw cars since 2024

I wonder how loud the engine is. When the car stands it sounds like a tractor. In your video its all ok, but I saw other videos and today I was at Mercedes & tested in the shop with idle running engine.....its quite noisy imo.
Look at the rpm's at 0:46 the Benz tought it was a Pertrol powered car and it realised it was a diesel 2 seconds later haha :p
Very powerful engine but it' s produced noise isn' t low and not pleasant as you hear it during intensive exelleration for so expensive and luxury car. It sounds very loud and improperly noisy at full pressing throttle if you consider that you' re into a Benz. You' re thinking that it' s a sport modified model with very loud competition exhaust. But it's not AMG already ! I' m disapointed... Anyway the icon the chosen materials and the design into the cockpit are very nice

yes, if u want to overtake antoher vehicle then u are allowed to signal that u are about to overtake. Even honking is allowed in that case.
Its not allowed. Also honking is only allowed to warn in dangerous situations. But we do it anyways
Unfortunately there is no space in the box, I don't understand why all the E-classes have become smaller and narrower, they used to be much more spacious
Crash regs. They need to put in loads more safety structures, and fitting them reduces interior space.

Mercedes has really fucked up its interiors this time, and I have been on E classes since I was born due to my dad’s job. What I really like is the latest V90 that we currently have in our fleet, interiors aren’t something wow but they are well assembled and materials seem to be high quality, no noises or cheap plastic feeling. Also, leg room in that car is something in its own category, plenty of room everywhere.

C class one is worse in material quality which is expected. But the E class screen layout is overdone in my opinion. Overall much prefer the c class interior over the e class
