    Intel have horrible CEOs lately. Nvidia CEO is Taiwanese. AMD hired Nvidia's CEO's cousin to turn company around. Most of these companies that turn their busineses around so happens to be CEO's of certain origins. I've seen Enphase almost file for bankruptcy until they hired a CEO who is of Indian origins. Look at companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. They know what works and what doesn't. Get better leadership. Same with Apple. They aren't innovating because their visionary is dead. Their current leader is just a manufacturing know how, not a visionary. Follow the path and hire either a Taiwanese or Indian and I bet you Apple will grow enormously. Same scenario for Intel. They are just a CEO away... Most Chinese CEO's went back to China to grow their wealth...

    As a MBA student, what i learnt from this example-
    1. No matter how big you are, you cant say that i am good at this and i ll keep on doing this and focus on what i am good at. Continuous innovation is very important.
    Here i believe anti trust law wont stop this kind of merger. For anti trust laws to kick in almost big chunk of market share has to be there with the two companies which they have as of now but it iseasy to work around it. furthermore, slowly the market share of intel is going to fade away. Plus ARM and Qualcomm only want the product side of business, not the manufacturing part. This way they can make sure that big chunk of market share isnt with the participant companies.
    I think Intel is going to rise from the ashes and we are going to study this case in which a company learnt from its mistakes and finally got into GPUs and again regain the market dominance.
    Hope to see Intel conquer as more the competition the better it is for us consumers.

    Intel (Integrated Electronics) made the world's first 8-bit microprocessor. 32-bit ISA was designed by Intel whereas 64-bit ISA was designed by AMD. Intel's 12th and 13th gen CPUs are great performance wise but the 14th gen chips were reported to be too hot ! Intel tried hard to introduce its GPU line called ARC Series but failed to provide Driver Updates smoothly as NVIDIA does. Intel's ARK (website that lists all their products and its specifications) is a great help no doubt. Are we reaching a saturation point in terms of chip manufacturing???

      From Israel, chip production would easily access the rich market of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf before India.
      Eventually, Israel would offshore to India and keep the Lion share of the local profit, but the war came, and even though Intel wanted to build it anyway, shareholders didn't see it that way.

    x86-64 processors are the only processors that are allowing you to change the operating system, because of open ecosystem on the other hand Qualcomm's Snapdragon X-Elite uses ARM architecture which limits your ability to navigate and choose the operating system of your choice. Basically changing operating system is straight forward in Intel's x86-64 architecture but that's not the case with Qualcomm or any other new microprocessor manufacturing company.

      actually is not really a problem to intel because is less probably at least 1% of total intel market cap really those one who bought those chip only specific group of users, if that happen in scenario where intel didn't need funding that kind problem will just pass in like 3-5 month. is costly mistake but they didn't need Billion to fix it
      Example like Asus they have AM5 over voltage problem last year and GN expose them with bad warranty claim problem also they still had problem with their SD card slot issues in their ALLY which to is still kind of problem to these days and Asus never release statement that they fix it, yes they add SD card warranty and prolong the warranty period but most of user already accept it and are moving on and ally is one of high selling handheld.
      but because it happen in such bad time probably it like adding salt to wound

    • @auritro3903
      @auritro3903 2 месяца назад

      True, but that only affects a very niche portion of the market, Intel sales actually have seem to gone up slightly since the Raptor Lake failures began. The reason Intel is struggling is because they are overinvesting in their fabs in their 4 year plan to catch TSMC in manufacturing.
