It looks meta, MC sims without tier gear looks like Weaving at 4.5-4.8k DPS, Ranged up to 4k and both melee builds around 3.2k

yeah i missed these, looking into them now. got caught up in the hype of the recent rogue sims and went crazy on the simonize discord looking at them all. highly recommend it if you want some hype lol
hunters and Rogue's will be top class to play , but I'll still main as pally , which class will be best healer in game , what's your though on the healer of choice?
rdruid best at launch, disc priest 2nd. will play disc priest and hope they outscale rdruid by the end of p4

@NOHITJEROME MM all day, love the rogue... was my 1st class way back in 04 vanilla and they pump in classic and are tons of fun in PVE and PVP. Have fun this phase and don't burn yourself out.
you could make a video about watching paint dry and as long as you're punting gnomes I'd watch it.

Rogues get big utility now too with the 10% damage buff to non physical damage from their new deadly poison and they can also sunder, thunderstomp and demo shout with new poisons, or am I wrong?
it's a great point. i think rogues will be stacked more than i thought. maybe 3-4 per raid
@NOHITJEROME all the mutilate nerfs really did is make saberslash really close on dps

Feral Druids only middle of the pack? I thought all the changes/runes with the set bonuses they were getting would put them higher?
i thought so as well but they dont seem that hyped in the discord. maybe 5th overall ish, i saw some exceptional ferals top 2-3 on ptr though
Because they use a resource that fluctuates, it will require math to polish them out.

Betseen mage, rogue, and shaman what class is looking great for pvp?
fire mage burst is going to be absurd, but id say rogue. already toxic running an invis comp in stv, i dont think it will get any less annoying. shaman pvp is nerfed a bit but not majorly. ele will probably be #1 source of complaints but thats due to ally bias
@@NOHITJEROME Invis comp in STV is annoying for the one that is opened on, but in reality it isn't any good. Any range comp is much better than invis ones. (IN STV!!!)
@@hejkalle1duh...the one they opened on is your healer and they have cc'd the rest of you ...unless another group helps you...its goodnight team of ranged.
@@StevenWilson-nq6cz no. The issue is that as rogue you die so fast. You need to find isolated 5v5s in that case and its not possible in STV.
Played many stealth grps (only) and like 7-800 is my top gain. As boomie it was easily over 2k. Shamans are crazy. Rogue is bad in comparisons to all ranged in STV
When do we get the tank/healer tier list?

Btw, paladin sims from what I am seeing is around 3250 DPS, there is an issue were it's not counting Righteous Vengeance so a dps loss there, and this is without 6-piece Double Seal Stack set, just hoping for middle of the pack rather than a dead last position but I have good faith in our scaling overall in the future.
very excited jtello, i agree rets are going to be solid middle of the pack. definitely recommend talking to surveillant if you need any more sim stuff he changed my mind big time on rets. the whole slow weapon vs fast exo thing is pretty interesting too. 2 viable builds it looks like
i think shadowpriests do alot of dmg where do you have your statistics from?
They do a lot of damage outside of full bus sims. They fall off when everyone else has all the juicy gear. Unless something changes they'll be great beginning of face and mid late phase.
they were doing avg middle of the pack ptr damage, the full bis sims are what i'm referring to like belavet said, they max out lower than other classses
exactly. now right now they are legitimately utility GODS so they'll still be brought to raids. but most priests would rather do 20% more damage and 50% less utility
@jerome did u checked ptr logs with the latest rogue logs and latest warrior changes?
everything was from july 3rd onwards, i believe that's the newest
@@NOHITJEROME Yeah, you should probably have read/added that there have been changes. Rogues have received quite a huge nerf to their best specc by far.

Backstab Rogue with CuthroatSlaughter from the Shadow, since Mutilate will be nerfed. Perhaps Saber Slash will shine.
saber will somehow remain untouched and end up overpowered by the end lol
I have a few classes I want to play, but can't decide. Ret, Spriest, Rogue, or Feral. I like bringing utility, so I'm not all that sure about Rogues. All of them are great pvp classes because I'm going to spam AV and do MC for every lock out. I'm in a pickle boys!
rogue has more utility than i mentioned in the video with their poisons, my apologies for missing it. i will be spamming av as well, i think you might enjoy rogue the most honestly

I remember talking to a GM of a pretty sweaty guild, and they are projecting deep prot glad warriors to be the top dps. Now I’m not the knowledgeable on the game so I don’t really know how that would be possible, but I just took it at face value.
i saw some of those sims, i don't think they will beat the traditional fury with ED. i hope not at least lol
@@NOHITJEROME yeah I think you’re prob right . I don’t really know what they are running, but I’ll be running glad just because I like the look of it. I don’t really know what they are running to get that crazy high sim though. I’m going have to look and see.
I'm having a blast still and can't wait for P4. I've mained Feral Druid since P1 and will probably continue to do so but I just made my first and only alt, a Fire Mage. So no matter what, I'm in for a good time! GLHF everyone!! 🔥
Horde or ally feral? I see feral being insanely desirable on ally. As for fire, great choice, it will be a blast

Been rogue tanking since p1 and love it, the introduction of sebaceous poison single handily is enough to main at least 2 in raid 1 as tank and 1 as DPS, tank uses sebaceous poison and can of knives and the dps use occult with deadly poison so they have both deadly and occult on boss, at first it was bugged but now it has been fixed so you can apply occult along with deadly if you have deadly applied to a weapon. I think with the mutilate nerf that’s coming down the pipeline will help with rogues being so damn high up there but the buffs we got to sword builds just make it a no brainer. Rogues will be S tier till end of naxx.
The thing is with dps meter is someone ALWAYS have to be on the bottom. If we buff etc. priests then some other class will be on the bottom.
We have to remember its also about viability and the needs to complete a raid. Not just be on the top.

Someone has to be on the bottom but that doesn’t mean they need to be below half the tank specs in damage
What about healers?? How are resto shamans looking with the changes
havent tested rsham, since most testing was done on alliance (tryhards i guess i dont know why) - atm rdruid is the king of progression, their aoe healing was broken in my testing. priest shields scale like wotlk so by end of p4 they will be broken. i assume rsham is somewhere in that range, either 2nd or 3rd
I’m so curious about fire mage/frost mage. Is fire mage better in MC? Are they lowering fire resist?
i think they will change fire resist but nobody knows for sure yet. really interested too

I don't know how much to stress but dispersion must be baseline not a rune.

@@NOHITJEROME in ptr I've seen priests been CCed to their death by pretty much by all classes, lower the vp damage.
Rogue has the best expose armor in the game now, right? And brings the 10% magic damage increase which is absurd, unless this magic dmg increase doesn't stack with the new warlock curse rune? You left this out but I feel like those alone, even if rogues had bad damage, make them mandatory for raids
yeah i missed this part when i got amped up about their sims. do you think those new additions make rogues more stackable? or is it more that one brings the extra utility
@@NOHITJEROME You get all the utility from just one rogue so probably only stack them if they have insane damage, but a guaranteed raid spot is better than none haha
Ranged Hunter is probably top of S at this point. Between the ranged +hit ring rune and Trap CD reduction cloak rune, Survival/MM just keeps getting stronger.
i see it but this was for the raids, it looks inaccurate right now, but wait and see. i believe for dungeons spriest is way higher too. any other standouts?
@@NOHITJEROME Well, P1 raids like MC and Ony, MM Hunter is always at the top for single target. It was their AoE that got massively buffed. Boss damage will be better with pre-bis gear now that we have so much extra +hit for ranged weapons. Lock N Load giving us double casts of Aimed Shot and Chimera is huge for single target.
My biggest concern for MC is fire immunities. Currently some of the best specs deal fire damage. If they don’t give us a way to deal with shredding fire resistance, Hunter, Mage and Warlock will take a hit.
My idea is to offer a rune that makes Frost Trap/Ice Trap reduce the affected enemies Fire Resistance when it procs. This can of course be resisted so it won’t always work.
Wont fire mages just be nerfed in MC as everything is fire?

well theres still another option if you dont like seal twisting that does similar damage
The optimal would be that max dmg potential wouldnt deviate more than 15% which would be fair and not suck as much. But yeah, blizz cant get shit done.
yeah we will see, it's definitely their goal but i think some classes like war prove too hard to balance with wbs and scaling
I love how they made spriest completely busted all throughout SoD only for them to remain completely useless for raid anyway.

panic panic panic oh thank god we are #1 lol. i will say there is ONE class with theoretical higher sims (warrior) and unrelatedly a dev said on the ptr "melee weaving hunter is meant to be the highest theoretical damage right now on the ptr" or something like that. so it's possible you'll have real competition. definitely recommend the simonzie disc if you want to learn more about the best builds right now. they did a LOT of sims

With the nerfs they have received after those logs I doubt this remains true. They are pretty significant.

Its crazy right now PROT warriors are on the top 1 spot world for dps in ST.. 2k dps..
As a guardian tank that pulls 99 parses at 800 dps i find this very offensive 😭

thats wild that you said shadow was low dps. Ive tested and looked at tons of logs and its top 3 dps hands down. insane.
rogue and fire mage are the only ones who out dps them so far.
i stand corrected, upon further review we are middle of the pack. around 1.8k to as high as 2.3k.
spriest was never really a top 10 performer on the ptr, and the issue is they only get worse when everyone else gets more gear. this is their peak time and to not be top 5 is alarming
the issue is this is our BEST time, think of how the fury warriors scale with ful bis in 3 months
for now we will outperform but give htem all p4 bis and we will have to see
I hope you do 1 for healers too
so far feels like rdruid #1 priest #2, druid is just insane right now. as we scale priest will surpass them though

can you elaborate on that? all the testing i did was sims and the ptr was just single target damage over and over
@@NOHITJEROME ye they bring magic buff poisons +10% more magic damage, have a 'armor' shred poison like a sunder and another that applies thunder clap
They will get occult poison which replaces deadly and gives the raid +10% non-physical dmg
ahhh wish I had combined that in. if they want to hit 3.9k+ damage do they get to bring the utility as well? makes no sense to get both
that's excellent, id say thats better utility than the new mark of chaos warlock spell. the one downside to rogues from my research is that they arent that stackable because of utility. imo if you do the highest aoe and st damage that's probably more than enough though
Most looks good tbf. Although enhance is not leaving that S tier, not as far as PVE goes.

dead last where? the wcl data wasnt accurate, i had to manually pull reports. they put out about 2k on ptr which was below avg but not that bad.

@@NOHITJEROME I play prot pally. Right now, the bottom of the barrel is warrior, followed by warlock. The 3 main contenders for MT in a raid setting are Paladin, Rogue and Druid. Rogue has the best dps of all tanks and (maybe?) the best AOE, Druids are just chonkers with big health and decent AOE, tho single target may be a problem. Paladins, imo, are the best over all, Decent AOE, decent damage and the BEST threat right by far. No tank can take aggro from me on the PTR right now.

Warrior will be top dps with tier and gear, just like always.

Been elemental since P1, super bummed. I don't really pvp in SoD and I feel like their oppression in pvp has made Blizzard cautious in any kind of buffs. Thinking of swapping to enhancement p4 guess well see how it goes.
i think you'll get buffs in a few weeks, i agree the pvp aspect is definitely causing them to be wary. sucks
Shaman is now 5% of their total mana to raid, so if enhance u got 4k mana its 250 manaper second 15 seconds to raid.

Putting boomkins on the same lvl as feral and them on A tier is a joke. Boomkins are sadly b tier at best and with the scaling they will be between c and b tier same as shadowpriest. No utility is worth that much dps especially later in the phase as people don’t need that utility anymore
boomkins need a buff there's no question, they will be slightly above spriest with full bis but not competitive. i agree, it's just the way i end up doing the list by class. never loved the idea of doing it by spec but this is the drawback of not

i agree boomkin is in a really rough place but they should get some buffs after launch. fingers crossed

Really hope the buff Elemental Shaman is the specc ive been playing since 2007. Why they dont give fire hit as utility too?? is our second dmg source as ele they give frost for FS (WDF). and they give to warrior the new buff with spell crit and why they dont give to elemental the Wrath Totem as utility and set as Boot rune cos really Eles dont have any good rune for boots. i think they should give back the buff to burn and only apply when u play as ele and more stuff to be a good slot in raid cos really ele totems can set the other 2 classes, so at this point Eles are useless for P4 (crying Hard :( )
i only paying sup to play SoD as shammy ele but if they dont make the class more fun and give us more Dmg/Utility for raid. No point for me to keep playing WoW
i see ele getting buffed but the hard part is making them not broken in pvp. i like the idea of extra utility to make them bring more to the table in pve while not doing much extra in pvp
Zzzz I weaved in classic and tbc. I don’t wanna weave no more
ya who the hell actually likes melee weaving? i dont love the "more effort should equal higher results" idea so much. what about knowing good positioning for sniper training per fight? managing gear swaps and rune swaps for explosive shot, etc. there is a lot more to hunter than being forced to melee weave
sod p4 ... too little too late. they clearly dont care about this game mode and it is serving only as a retail testbed.

Man everyone just cries about their class… if I’m clearing content idc if I’m bottom dps if I bring something to the raid and my parses are mostly yellow I’m winning literally. PVP should be the main focus imo it is what truly gives the game consistent between lock out playability….
PSA you don’t have to play the higest dps class to top meters in you own runs, you dont need to be top dps class to bring value to the raid. If you can’t have fun on the class you’re playing with out being objectively the best dps class/spec in the game, why are you not playing era warr? Why are you playing a hybrid class with utility out the ass? Try to enjoy the SEASONAL content with the friends we made along the way…
Here's the thing, the way i know you're not right about your tier list is that ive seen 5 tier lists and they are all different.
It's like religion, you can't have 15 different "gods" and all of them be true, it's either 1 or none.
the top 4 is gonna be accurate and that's what really matters.2nd or 3rd worst won't matter much
@@NOHITJEROME Ive done some pretty extensive testing and Feral is 100% S tier, and Warrior is definitely not A tier. That's just 2. But again even my opinion is subjective. , time will tell
At this point people are just making content for contents sake. SoD p4 aint even out yet...

It’s incredible how little they value feedback for melee hunters. The vast majority want to be melee and not weaving, but xirene told us he’s not taking that into consideration. The rotation is now the most complex in the game, yet still performs so poorly damage wise.
i think a lot of classic players (myself included, maybe the devs too?) just kind of want to play ranged hunter and the result is if you fell in love with the melee builds you are getting screwed over. personally i just want to stand there and shoot without moving. i know weaving is going to be better, but i feel like now both sides (melee / ranged) are going to be unhappy lol
yup i swapped melee in p2 due to how strong it was, and how weak ranged was, fell in love with it - then they butchered us. completely main swapped to enhance sham just like everyone else.
They dropped 2 classes hotfixes and hunter is not in those two. They just really hate hunter
You ever thought about just playing an actual melee class? Wild concept I know, pressing raptor strike over and over must be so fun
