I have both cabs and I have to agree with you too. I bought Xmen vs SF first bc MvC was sold out and I didn't think I'd get a chance to get it. Obviously I did in the end. Arcade1up did cannibalize both by practically doubling up on these very similar cabs. Hope they don't try and screw their fans and their profits like this again.
You thought you'd never be able to buy a MvC cab because you missed out on launch? You actually thought they'd never made any more units outside of the the first batch?
i agree just the facted that the x men vs street fighter cab has children of the atom and the mvc cab dont makes xmen vs street fighter cab wroth it i think. mvc cab is great in its own right with msh and the other vs game it has i remember playing all the games in the arcade so i would rock both . only got xmen cab now because the mvc was sold out like you but now im waiting on a good deal for the mvc 1
@@Nothing13lue perfectly said I love coa growing up so to have Wi-Fi was a bonus and made it worth it even though before purchasing I had mvc cab but also since I have 2 cabs I can play my brother online beside him instead of being squeezed together on 1 cab. So there are benefits to owning both
I suppose it's a matter of perspective, though you bring up good points. I wanted the X-men vs cab for perhaps the silliest of reasons, nostalgia. I remember seeing it for the first time at Alladins Castle in my mall and not believing it was a thing being a reader of that comic and a SF player. Albeit the cab looked different, when I saw that on A1up site, I wanted it simply because I remembered. I customized it and it's a highlight of my gameroom. But yeah, I do think you're right in a pragmatic way, but I don't regret it. Besides, it's got Alpha Cammy on the side with Rogue. C'mon man!
Thats the cab I picked. Better artwork imo. My issue seems to be with the pcb. Occasionally it has a weird wavy look to the screen. Turn it off and back on its generally gone. If it gets to a time it stays f'd up I'll remove it from the arcade. I prefer the lineup on X v SF. I more interested in X Men than Marvel as a whole. Definitely rather have something else than a mediocre snes game tho.

@@awill891 if they're company motto is like LRG then he's correct in thinking that.
Nothing against MvC but I'm a long time X-Men fan so I had to pick that version up. I don't regret it.
I like the art work on the X-men vs Street Fighter. I guess it’s subjective, but they are both great.
I just bought one at Walmart online for 350. Came in excellent condition. Well worth it.
It was a money Maker, I brought both for the artwork and wifi for children of atom.

I scooped.... hopefully we will be able to mod the PCBs in these and have all VS games...
Waiting for it to go down to $199 on super clearance.
If I find it for that price I would buy 2
I have both and im pretty happy with them...
