    Rear Differential Lock option is available only in selected models. In the models with this option, switch is located in the front console adjacent to the cigarette lighter socket (in front of the super select drive mode lever). This switch is labeled as "R/D Lock"

    The first two gears you can move while driving. The low box witch you didn't show you have to be stopped. 2 to 4wd straight forward to 4wd .Next one is right and forward center difflock. Next one push lever down and forward low box with all locks on. Most rear diffs are limited slip deffs but some have difflock. Button will be in center control forward of gearstick

    Nice video, I had to put my ‘94 Delica l400 in 4 low yesterday to get out of some sand on a crazy long rural driveway.. I was stuck in RWD.. soon as I put it in 4 I got out out so quick lol.. question, so I could leave it in 4 hi and drive on paved roads, I just have to stay under 60 mph?

    • @CONNER3497
      @CONNER3497  Год назад +1

      Yes absolutely 4H is fine on paved roads. If there's no need then always go for 2H just for fuel economy but if you want to move abit quicker or on hills , rain etc including DRY roads 4WH is perfect and stay under 60 you manual will confirm this. Happy 4 wheeling!

    • @CONNER3497
      @CONNER3497  4 года назад +2

      Please see the below taken from the owners club
      This switch, adjacent to the automatic shift lever, allows the driver to choose the gear range as appropriate.
      There are three positions, POWER, AUTO and HOLD.
      POWER: when switched on, the POWER light will show on the dash. In normal driving, with the shift lever in D, the power mode will operate through the full range of gears 1 to 3 plus overdrive when active. In 2, the power mode will only operate through 1 to 2, and in L, the power mode will only operate on the first gear.
      AUTO: In auto mode, the transmission will automatically change between POWER and ECONOMY modes as driving conditions define, changing to POWER mode for example when starting a hill ascent.
      HOLD: The HOLD light will show on the dash. The transmission will operate in ECONOMY mode through the full range of selected gears, not changing any higher than the selected gear, for example if you have selected L, the transmission will not change up to 2

    • @yousafzaiaa7453
      @yousafzaiaa7453 3 года назад +2

      Don't worry about this. Majority of vehicles of this model do the same... front wheels blinking come and go by itself. Being in use for years, pressure sensors in the gearbox (responsible for controlling 4x4 indicator) are not "so sensitive" anymore and sometimes do not switch their position according the selected drive mode. This does not affect the drive however might be a bit tricky to determine in which drive mode vehicle actually is. But if you are driving this vehicle for significant period, this is not just 4x4 indicator which tells you which drive mode is selected. You can determine this by the behavior and drive of your vehicle ... btw mine is Pajero Exceed 2.8 1996 and its 4x4 indicator does the same, so don't worry... you are not alone :)

      This is "Rear Window Wiper and Washer Switch". Please note that Pajero/Montero/Shogun has different versions marketed in the different part of the world. Some options are available in a certain version but missing in another. If you have this control in your model, button has three positions with "OFF position in the middle. upside pressed = position1 which is to operate rear wiper. Downside pressed = position2 which is for intermittent wiper operation (note that rear wiper speed is not adjustable unlike front wiper which has adjustable speed in intermittent mode). Washer is operated once while pressing the button. Washer fluid bottle is located in the rear door (you can see a round lid almost in the middle of interior side of the door)
