Gua Musang has many awesome natural place to visit..for example Blue Valley and Lojing, Northern entrance of Taman Negara, Jelawang Jungle, Yong Belar Mountains, Nenggiri River white water, ethnobotany park the natural caves system and the limestone hills .
@mybraintalks we have to agree with you, we feel that Kelantan is not known at all but there’s a lot of “hidden” gems and most importantly it has potential to become a touristy must spot

As a Malaysian, I like this video. Visiting some of this small and secluded village place is so meaningful. There is so much peace in these villages, and it's always neglected by Malaysian how beautiful our country are.
From what i heard, this type of coaches and train (diesel engines) will be out of service soon. mybraintalks Yup, I agree with preserved this type of train. My idea is when the ETS line open they should keep this train for village people move between village and towns. If they shut down this operation, we can't even enjoy the old trains like always, open the door while the train moving and enjoying the fresh jungle air. Really hope they still operate this kind of train even the ETS start to operate.

We passed by a part of Gua Musang on our way to Penang just recently. But we were driving, and we try to take the old, back roads vs. the highway because there’s less traffic. But for me, I like it better because you see a lot of kampungs along the way. I love all the kampung houses and the very laidback atmosphere in these small towns. First time I was on that train was in 1989 on the way to Taman Rimba Kenong 7 steps waterfall. The train was not as modern as it is now. No air-conditioning back then
next week I'm going back to Kelantan after a year... miss so much kelantan and rail...I'm working with railway contractor for rehabilitation railway track gua musang-tumpat few year ago
I remember travelling from kelantan on this type of train when i was a kid. The seat was pretty hard on my arse. I didn’t know they still exist today. I thought they were all have been replaced by newer electric train. Thank god the train smells good i thought its gonna smell like old carpet.
The old version from where you were a kid is no longer available and this one will be replaced by the electric one soon, many people are commenting on this video saying that
U should go to MERAPOH too. Located near to GUA MUSANG. Just beside the GUA MUSANG. Actually by the train that u ride, it stops at MERAPOH too. MERAPOH is between KUALA LIPIS and GUA MUSANG. Tourists go there to visit TAMAN NEGARA and hiking.
Yeah we stopped there or the train stopped there 😂 we didn’t and still don’t have proper equipment (shoes, clothes...) to visit taman negara so we decided no to go 🙃🙃🙃
@@Travelgramers Oh i see..so u already know about it. U are very knwoledgeable. U must have done some research before came to Malaysia. My parents in law told me they once had foreign tourist (totally strangers, european or american i'm not so sure) stayed at their house for a week or two, i don't exactly remember their stories. But, from what i heard, they coincidently met when they let the girl get into their car and helped her around.
I still remember my journey from kuala lumpur to tanah merah riding does train, i often open the door and watch the scenery along the journey but sadly does train was discontinued due to flash floods in 2014
wow, as a Sarawakian, I never actually ride a train, most I did is the MRT and LRT in KL . Maybe when I am able to go back West Malaysia,I might actually go on the trains.
My village between Kuala Lipis to gua musang..it's call Merapoh, there the Sungai Relau national park at and lot limestone cave nearby..just a small village but beautiful view..you can climb the highest mountain in purnisula Malaysia call "gunung tahan" or play with wild fish at there..good place to visit..you can go with the car,bus or by train..
We are looking into different options now, things to do, things to see and Merapoh has been suggested a lot here on this video, the idea is very appealing so we’ll see what we decide 😉😉 Thanks for recommending it 😁 Stay safe
Yeah the very old train would’ve been the best, but it wouldn’t be very comfortable for people who really need to use the train on a regular basis specially for long distance, maybe if it becomes famous the government can have one old train running like once a week just for tourism purposes 😃😃🙃🙃
its Good u can feel the ride now.. because this train will stop running in 2-3 years.. they built the new one known as ECRL which will use electric same as the northern part.. and no more locomotive train in malaysia after this
what a great video guys, keep it up n please enjoy your journey in Gua Musang.. However, u can take a train to Tumpat also, Tumpat was the last station in east Malaysia😊
You guys really bring back my teenage memories, when I drove around. As an advice, please don't say the food is cheap as it can be an expensive meal for locals. Please enjoy.
Those are the standard prices for everywhere in Malaysia except Kuala Lumpur, with 4 or 5 RM you can have a meal and I guess most people agree that it is cheap, the video document our experiences and opinions if we stop saying what we think and what we want because other people will disagree we might as well stop making videos. I understand not everyone can afford certain things but still our videos are about our experiences 😉😉
You really enjoy the village atmosphere in Malaysia, understand the culture of Malaysians, they are more friendly, and can give an accurate picture of Malaysia....mlysia is actually truly asia....☺️☺️

You should proceed to Kuala Krai to see more magical green forests. You will go through 7 tunnels.
12:15 that "we got two..." is english with kelantan accent. Soo cuteee 😂❤
That's a pretty cool train ride and what a view arriving at Gua Musang, WOW...I can't wait for the next video...Btw, I love that Hoi An shirt...Stay healthy guys!
Ahahah thanks so much Sophie, arriving there was like arriving at a movie set it was so picture perfect that it didn’t seemed real 😆
The shirt was a gift from a couple that was in Vietnam at the same time as us but we ended up meeting in Malaysia right after leaving Vietnam 😆
Hope you are well and stay safe 😉
Even local like me never take a train ride, mostly by road or air to Kota Bahru maybe this time I' ll try really looks interesting , thanks to you guys for sharing your vlog, have fun and stay safe
You should really try it, there's an express train that doesn't take as long as the ones we took and you can still enjoy the views 😁😁
Amazing guys!!! 😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 😁
First time I was on that train was in 1989 on the way to Taman Rimba Kenong 7 steps waterfall. The train was not as modern as it is now. No air-conditioning back then
next week I'm going back to Kelantan after a year... miss so much kelantan and rail...I'm working with railway contractor for rehabilitation railway track gua musang-tumpat few year ago
Hope you have a great time in Kelantan 😉😉😉
You are my kind of tourists.
Thank you
I remember travelling from kelantan on this type of train when i was a kid.
I still remember my journey from kuala lumpur to tanah merah riding does train, i often open the door and watch the scenery along the journey but sadly does train was discontinued due to flash floods in 2014
Hope you enjoyed the durian, on train try nasi bunkus.
Hati hati banyak musang disana
U should take a ride onboard ETS train, it's intercity electric train that actually replace the one you took in stages
wow, as a Sarawakian, I never actually ride a train, most I did is the MRT and LRT in KL . Maybe when I am able to go back West Malaysia,I might actually go on the trains.
It’s 100% worth the ride, we loved it 😁😁
My village between Kuala Lipis to gua musang..it's call Merapoh, there the Sungai Relau national park at and lot limestone cave nearby..just a small village but beautiful view..you can climb the highest mountain in purnisula Malaysia call "gunung tahan" or play with wild fish at there..good place to visit..you can go with the car,bus or by train..
We are looking into different options now, things to do, things to see and Merapoh has been suggested a lot here on this video, the idea is very appealing so we’ll see what we decide 😉😉
Thanks for recommending it 😁
Stay safe
Cool, i wish they keep run the old train, gua musang still got so much green
Yeah the very old train would’ve been the best, but it wouldn’t be very comfortable for people who really need to use the train on a regular basis specially for long distance, maybe if it becomes famous the government can have one old train running like once a week just for tourism purposes 😃😃🙃🙃
@@Travelgramers
i think you are right.i would like to forward your message to the Ministry of Tourism.
Nice trip

its Good u can feel the ride now.. because this train will stop running in 2-3 years.. they built the new one known as ECRL which will use electric same as the northern part.. and no more locomotive train in malaysia after this
Gua musang is a best to travel
what a great video guys, keep it up n please enjoy your journey in Gua Musang.. However, u can take a train to Tumpat also, Tumpat was the last station in east Malaysia😊
We stop at Wakaf Bharu just 1 stop before the end 🙃
I believe most of us Malaysian never tried this awesome train ride before
Well it’s time to do it before they replace it with an electric one
You guys really bring back my teenage memories, when I drove around. As an advice, please don't say the food is cheap as it can be an expensive meal for locals. Please enjoy.
Those are the standard prices for everywhere in Malaysia except Kuala Lumpur, with 4 or 5 RM you can have a meal and I guess most people agree that it is cheap, the video document our experiences and opinions if we stop saying what we think and what we want because other people will disagree we might as well stop making videos. I understand not everyone can afford certain things but still our videos are about our experiences 😉😉
Kelantan has the best food yumm
You really enjoy the village atmosphere in Malaysia, understand the culture of Malaysians, they are more friendly, and can give an accurate picture of Malaysia....mlysia is actually truly asia....☺️☺️
That’s what we really enjoy on our travels, understand the culture and be part of it 😁😁😁
Thank you very much for sharing Malaysia with me and the rest of the world. Well done, keep it up 👍👍👍 and hope you enjoy yourself here.
Thank you 😊 😉😉
@@Travelgramers U are welcome 😊. Actually, I'm riding to Gua Musang next month with some friends since the borders are still closed.
